Uncle Koon has officially announced that he bought DAYANG.
Posted by yewyin33 > Feb 20, 2019 08:38 AM | Report Abuse
Hibiscus announced its 2nd quarter EPS 3.15 sen yesterday and many so-called experts said that its profit is more than 4 time its corresponding profit last year. You must remember its 1st EPS was 6.3 sen. Why is it showing reducing profit?
Since it does not comply with my share selection golden rule, I will not buy it now.
Fortunately, I sold all my shares a few months ago when I discovered Carimin and Dayang.

I must say that wrong theme to play. Now all eyes are focusing on oil & gas counters.
2019-02-10 14:24 | Report Abuse
Plan A — Keep buying Carimin Petroleum only if the quarterly result met market expectation.
Plan B — Switch to Dayang Enterprise since this oil & gas counter met the golden rule.
Uncle won't lose. I guess he has plan A and plan B in his hands. Only people who chase high may lose.

Director disposed warrants, NOT mother share. When mother share go to RM0.800 for example, warrants will follow to RM0.400 too.
So my opinion is as long as director still holding tight his mother shares, everything will be fine.

Kindly give 5% premium to the warrants. Now the warrants like rare item, very rare to find with the negative premium.

kcchongnz is not a super investor. He never claims as one. A super investor is too big a hat for him. What he is doing here is just to share some investment knowledge and experience which he claims are useful for investing in the stock market.
I don't know much about Lay Hong, but more of QL. I admire the management of QL which has been creating shareholder value maximizing for many years. I heard the management of Lay Hong is also good.
The fundamentals of Lay Hong is good. It has consistently making money in the past. For the latest annual financial performance, it did well too with net profit doubled to RM41m, or 6 sen per share.
Margin of this type of business is low, but it is able to leverage it and obtain reasonably good ROE of 11.4%.
Valuation wise okay with both PE and EV/Ebit of about 10, much lower than QL, I think.
Just one concern. Why did the director kept on selling his warrants last month? Is there something we don't know?
I will rate Layhong as a longer term investment. If I have it, I will keep it, after its share price has dropped so much. We don't buy something we think good but then sell it for half the price later for no apparent reason, do we? Of course if something seriously happen.

TA - Very weak, the price is at new low. I believe no much downside now.
FA - I believe the price is fair price now, will not drop much.
My advice, I will hold and sell on rebound.
I will not advise to buy now because TA is very weak.
Wish you good luck.
Thank you.

Which stock can offer you potential upside more than 100%? My answer is Hengyuan and Mediac. If you want to play safe and quick, Mediac is a good bet. Key words : Most Kwai Chung, Media Chinese International Limited.

...One should note that the share transfer from Bursa Securities to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange is subject to stamp duty and share registration, which could take weeks.
That’s true that you can switch your MY share to HK share. Kenanga warns us because HONG KONG share market quite volatile. BUT if Mediac HK can sustain its share price at $2, Mediac MY worth RM1. Potential upside 100%.
Now, Mediac HK has trading at $2.30, equal to RM1.15. What if Mediac HK can stand at $3.00? It already hit $3.00 three times in recent trading days. Think logically and make your own decision.
