Ooi has been promoting this undervalue stock for quite some time even before this issue arise. I have no issue keeping the stock as I believe

Reference is made to the Company’s previous announcements dated 6th January 2009, 26th February 2009 and 27th June 2012 pertaining to the cancellation of the Contract (“Contract”) relating to the construction and completion of the main building works, external works and infrastructure works (“Cancellation”) of the Nad Al-Sheba Racecourse Project by Meydan L.L.C. (“Meydan”) which was awarded to the 50:50 joint venture (“JV”) between the Company and Arabtec Construction L.L.C. (“Arabtec”) and the arbitration process initiated by the JV in Dubai against Meydan (“DIAC case No. 02/2009”) for breach of contract and to enforce the JV’s rights and remedies, including the recovery of all amounts due under the Contract as well as damages.
The Company wishes to update the status of the above as follows:-
1. The Company has been informed by Arabtec that it has been approached by Meydan and:-
a. that a proposal has been made for parties to consider withdrawing all pending legal cases without prejudice to their respective rights and proceed with negotiations for amicable settlement (“the Proposal”);
b. that details of the Proposal will be conveyed to the Company in due course; and
c. that Arabtec is agreeable to the Proposal.
2. Meydan has contacted the Company and the Company is yet to receive full details of the Proposal. The Board will review and consider the Proposal upon receiving the same.
3. The Company will make further announcements of any further significant developments in due course.
This announcement is dated 27 February 2013.
