TG subsequently downsize the China factories and went elsewhere. Intco is big, I acknowledge it few months ago even here and I mentioned it. And in those early years, TG is a one factory small fry. one by one glove factory close down but TG remains and continue to grow to world #1. You think TG used pandemic to grow to #1?

During the early days of TG starting up, and way before that, there was latexx partners, whose share price was in the high of 20. That time, there were more than a handful of big glove makers and hundreds more smaller glove makers like today's AT, Mahsing, GETS. But during the subsequent years, majority of these glove makers die out due to competition.

The talk of oversupply is such a joke that shows you are out of this industry, hence talk like one.

That's the many reasons why ikan bilis will be eaten alive by the sharks. These traders wannabe rush in rush out to make few thousands here and there. Few make hundreds of thousands with margin but that come with high leveraged risk.

To be really able to earn big money, it's never in the trading. it's always in the waiting. How much can you really rush in rush out to buy every round? 200k? 300k? How many have that kind of cash to do meaningful return?

The idea of "buying on dips" is only applicable to soundly managed, profitable companies. Not the goreng type. I sold TG shares around 2018 days before the GE. and slowly buying on dips for 1 year for the whole 2019. Didnt really think it would yield anything. but I didnt time the market. I dont see Malaysia KKM release any re-hospitalization number, they should so that we get the better picture other than new cases. Because people get the idea that, well once you had the virus, it's only a matter of time whether you have the bed and capacity to treat. but how many trully understand that there is post-covid treatment that are still affecting many people. If everyday the case is 600k, and those that need hospitalization is around 300k, then we will have 100k recurring rehospitalization patients with COVID. and 37k cases might be fatal.

Best bet is to social distance, keep the frontliners safe and keep the hospital very safe.
Vaccines can only do so much, until the virus soften itself. And this is the bitter truth.

The seriousness of COVID is still underplayed. Developed countries with better data tracking shows that the trend of re-hospitalization and fatality didn't get better.

Usually virus will mutate both ways, either to be more fatal, spread more or the reverse. Which sometimes render the virus non-fatal and less dangerous overtime.

However, the number didnt improve. 1/3 re-hospitalized less than 4 months, and in the same period 1/8 case is fatal. This number didnt improve, the same number we saw from last year peak, is still happening with new variants, new vaccines booster might take time to reach where it needed most.
