ALl that happened last few days happened within 24 hours when the register is issued, then media picked up, and on the same day, seizure of the goods happened.

This is not all planned? No one care to tell TG or go to media that says, well, your report is no good so we have to go ahead with all these seizure. But no, there is no such thing happened. In fact, there is a lack of communication from the CBP side, and straight away escalted to national security, this speaks volume.

@DChosen2. 10 years bond yields have the best indicator among all. Especially when the Fed dont want to declare anything soldi because the last time Janet Yallen did that, the market slapped her on the face with financial crisis. and now, no one trust the fed anymore, even as they say the yield will go up to max 2.25% in 2021. But we are in March, and it's already creeping closer, and riisng everyday to 1.7++ area. And March 31 is the final date before these money will be charged interest.

TG has been trying to automate all these years, reducing man count from 8 to 1 person in the last 10 years. New factories are built with full automation in mind. We will see fewer import of foreign workers in the years to come. even as of now, there is not much in take of foreign workers since 2018-2020, yet TG capacity was still on the rise. So for those long term investors, it's better to get educated than be panicked because of the manipulation. but for traders, TG might just be your nightmare.

10 years US bonds when it reached the 1.8-2.0%, that's when most funds will be struggling to maintain their lines and will be forced to sell or pay up. And unfortunately, no one trust Fed anymore, so the rates will continue to climb because there is no growth of economic value other than pumped up stock market in over-printed money.

Today sell off in KLCI is triggered by the raising rates in 10 years US bonds, and Europe bonds. And most funds will not want to hold beyond the 31 March as this will incur interest on the monies they hold. This triggers sell off and subsequently create a sell down effect you see today in KLCI.

TG unfortunately is being involved in geo political issue now. The use of convict as mentioned in the CBP register is part of a ESG program to allow convict with light sentences to learn a life skill. and Even the US Custom also presented weak conclusion to the seize, and this is really despicable as the US needed the glove very badly.

Whether EU will join in the ban, that's quite a far fetch assumption. EU is having worse cases of COVID than US, and US has not been really friendly to anyone so far. So why would EU want to join US in the ban is beyond me. When EU ban, they tend to do with whole country ban, meaning all glove makers will be banned from Malaysia, and that's just suicide.

Now the whole market wait for RSS to peak, shortselling is always a short to mid term game. Anything longer than that, they will miss the opportunity to gain.

At the same time restrict chinese money from flowing out of the country. There is only one place the money can go, which is stock market. The last time the culling happened was in 2012-2013, and it just happened again end of Dec 2020.

Chinese market is not lack of money, but always wanted to get a hand on foreign companies. In every market, there will be traders and investors. Amid the last sell off just start of the year, market is mostly cautious, china A shares will continue to get stronger as their battered supply chain is slowly restoring, albeit a bit too slow, causing prices to hike across the board.

I think the interest in tech is just goreng and about profit, the R&D is still falling behind in critical technology area. But one thing China is very good at, is mass scale app ecosystem, AI, and blockchain. These fields, there is no competitors out there that can compete with China. But these are my observations.

@Brutus. Shares sold by short sellers are sold, gone. So when dividend is paid out, the share price get adjusted. The amount of shares that were borrowed to be sold is the same. But the value has changed since share price has been adjusted.

Shortseller need to pay out to the loaners (owners of these shares) the dividend. Otherwise, why would anyone want to loan their share out to be sold?

Given the rough amount of shares that were shorted around 230mil shares. Each share dividend is 25.2 cents. 230000000*0.252 = RM57.96mil in cash, unless there is an arrangement that short sellers can further push the payment down theline with interest.
