Moreover, he also hinted that next quarter is a seasonally low revenue generating for annjoo. So for a company with high margin, changes in revenue (top line) creates a huge volatility for its profit (bottom line).

So the same outstanding profit cannot be expected in the next quarter after the higher cost is taken into consideration.

Due to lag effect of rise in cost, perhaps due to lover valuation of older inventory

Director actually indicated the possible reason for outstanding result

But I think the profit taking is a healthy one as the longer term fundamental is closely intact.

John Lu, I mean similar to Pmetal in term of reporting outstanding quarter results but succumbed to profit taking the following day due to fulfillment of current fair value.

Is this situation similar to those of Pmetal?
By the way, I don't think I breach any moral obligation by sharing information on other stock. Neither did I condemn this stock as I look highly upon it too.
But did I owe you any moral obligation in the first place?

Even Leoting mentioned in his article that the current price of Annjoo is not undervalued. Thus, there is limited potential for growth toward the fair valuation of share price. Annjoo need to show this kind of growth continuously in the upcoming quarters to continue enjoy higher fair valuation of its stock.
Meanwhile, Ssteel might be in focus for its undervaluation in relation to its peers despite its market dominance. You guys may consider it if you would like to.

It might take half a day to build up 100m of buying rate for AAX on a bullish day.
But all it needs is merely 13 minutes to sell down the same stake.
What a record !

Corporate proposals at times are just a time buying mechanism. It's much better to buy after the tide has settled. See what happen to iwcity and icon with proposals.

I have learned since last year that high load factor doesn't necessarily translate into a high profit for aax. It merely indicates more or less a loss making quarter can be avoided.

Highlighting good points to potential investors is a good deed but it is equally important not trying to dominate the forum by brushing off or attacking opponents who post constructive argument points to reduce the exposure risk of investors with insults.
After all, it is an open information sharing platform. It is better to be a little more ethical in advocating our ideology while trying hard to fend off the potential conflict of interest.
Still, investors need to be smart and not fooled by others. You are responsible for your own money. No one charges you for info on this forum (whether true facts or false info), and neither will they compensate you for your losses. Once bitten, twice shy.

I know that a lot of people invest nearly all their savings here in order to make a huge return but results seem to be a little unfavourable thus emotions are running high. Everyone just cool down ya. Things will turn for better after tomorrow. Maybe things are not as bad as feared

But i believe the long term fundamental is there. Just that i dont know how long you all have to hold for potential upgain. I think the price will be well supported at around 41 sen. The next hope will be in Dec 17. Till then, all the best to everyone here

I would just like to point out that AAX is involved in a seasonal business which makes it particularly attractive for its result in 1st and 4th quarter every year. When Dec 15 and Mar 16 results were commendable, everyone chased until 0.49 before release of 2Q June 16 result which turned out to be below market expectation. It dropped to as low as around 0.35
This time, Dec 16 was ok-ok and Mar 17 perhaps was well below market expectation given the chase beyond 0.5. It is true that the market has priced in the expectation of Mar 17 results but it was for at least RM150m profit as what was discussed nearly every hour in aax forum.
So now, the scenario is almost similar as last year when price was being chased sky high and remain stagnant or retrace a little before release of result. Last year, we pinned our hope that it was just the traditionally weak 2nd quarter. But this time it was the used to be 1Q benchmark which looks unpromising.
After this comes the traditionally weak 2nd and 3rd quarter. I don't know what else to say.

I have no idea too, radzi.. Personally, i enjoyed the aax ride too from 0.20 to 0.40 last year.. For me, this year is harder to say as more big players trying to get a share of the cake

What's the hurry? Unless the hurry to unload at its peak price? Haha

Fortunebull, don't worry. Since the result is expected to be so good, it will fly anyway after the release of result in few days time.

Hunger, i am not really expert in ssteel, just doing some ground analysis as i invest. A lot of sifus mentioned about prestar, maybe u can try to analyse the counter. For JAKS, hopefully you don't buy it as it is more like a speculative stock to me due to too much uncertainty into its future, similar to IWCITY previously

Hi, I noticed that revenue has been steadily increasing for the past year but EPS is declining for the past 4 quarters. Anyone can enlighten me on that?

eh supermx2, i thought you are waiting for cab to overtake airasia ! Hahaha
2017-05-15 12:03 | Report Abuse
This Ssteel is a long term play. The bigger players are not too interested in the short term current price valuation. Instead for the moment, they are more interested in pushing down the price so that they can buy at much lower price to earn the same 3 sen dividend. Why buy high when you can get it at much lower price. Those who wanna sell should sell much earlier and not at immediate pre-ex-date. After the ex-date, the price should be recovering gradually.

Lol, do you know what SEA Games stand for? Does AAX serve flights to South East Asian nations? If really 100% load factor, doesn't it belongs to AirAsia instead of AAX? Hahaha

The new substantial shareholder, Huam Hong Ping, purchased 80m of shares in open market at only 4.92 sen on average. But greedy speculators somehow chased right up to 8.5 sen. So what you think will happen next? Food for thought for the weekend

Or will the management be so generous to buy back all the WA with an inflated price just to release all the speculators from losses?
