What i see more currently is that aax plays second fiddle to airasia. AAX is mainly used to connect international passengers to AirAsia flights in the region.

I think ssteel still has some room for further drop, maybe around 1.80, but definitely someone will be very happy to collect them at bargain, anticipating some exciting time ahead for steel industry

I think the drop on friday is reasonable after release of result on thursday evening. Contrary to annjoo's situation where its share price has fallen from as high as around 3.50 last may to as low as around 3.00 recently, so most of short term / weak holders had been flushed out. But ssteel instead has risen from around 1.65 to more than 2.10 in such a short span of time. So it is only reasonable for those short term traders to cash out for profit.

This situation is totally opposite of last quarter event when ssteel shot up after release of result while annjoo fell on profit taking post result

Ultimately it might not be able to overtake annjoo as the cost leader, but we should be proud of ssteel for its market share leadership which will ultimately see ssteel to be fairly valued

For the next 1 - 2 years, the topline / revenue will take care of their own. Care should be given to their cost of production though. Q3 shall be a good testimony to what ssteel has to strive in such challenging environment

I dont think ssteel applied the wrong strategy previously. But rather they have no choice. They have to continuously produce for their customers. If the market force is weak then they will lose badly. But when the market force is strong, then they will benefit the most. And the market force has just started this q3
