Since less oil in d mkt therefore due to supply n demand economist expecting oil price to go up.

The FBM KLCI is expected to rebound further next week and stay above the crucial 1,800-point support level, with investor focus on the Eleventh Malaysia Economic Plan (11MP) to be tabled on May 21.
Treasury yields dropped and the dollar eased on Friday following a stabilisation in European government bonds and another batch of weak US data that raised expectations the Federal Reserve will need to wait longer to hike interest rates, according to Reuters.
US stocks finished near flat, though the S&P 500 eked out another record closing high and major indexes posted gains for the week. The MSCI World equity index gained 0.26 percent and was up for the week as well, it said.
AffinHwang IB vice president and head of retail research Datuk Dr Nazri Khan said that following the oversold performance of the local stocks (over the last three weeks) and successful test of 1,800 support level, he expects the FBM KLCI to stage further rebound driven by positive GDP data, rising local currencies and commodities price.
Nazri said despite the traditionally bearish month of May, investor focus was likely to be on the 11MP, on measures to boost Malaysian economic growth to a developed state.

Replanting program hv to take place in phases.Right now they hv to cutdown on top m'ment n massive reduction on perks etc.FGV hv cash reserves, will be able to pay dividend for d next few yrs but what happens when cash depletes. With d present price of oil price n yield of 20mt, d Co can collapse n oil pr not going to increase becoz of supply n demand. Felda shd employ young dynamic (age 40yrs) CEO hving 15yrs of oil palm plantation Mgr.Make sure he got one (1) wife like M, always energetic, otherwise he may not hv d energy to walk in d field (no joke, i am serious). Unless serious action taken, d consequences equavalent to d earth quake in Nepal.

IOI shares was 15++++ n diluted wt bonus shares. KLK/IOI/UP field m'ment all similar but UP exceptional.UP trading between 25-30 n pays dividend 80-100% or 80cts-1.00.Mgrs bonus profit sharing 100-300k dont be shocked that is d truth.Managing field is comitment n common sense hence all of us can be field mgrs. For Rich atention..example oil palm estates is labour intensive therefore...1) when workers doing general spraying (kill weeds) n circle weeding round d palms so when u put fertiliser around d palms it will go to d palms not fertilising d weeds..2) when fertiler is applied it must be supervised otherwise some palms gets more fertiliser or no fer...at all, n some thrown into d stream...3) when fruits r harvested it falls on d ground n d bearies gets scattered n if d loose fruits r not collected n send to d mill, instead of getting 23% oil may get 19%. Early seventies when i was working wt orang putih, if one loose not collected, d field conductor gets d sack.During my early seventies, the white mgrs spent fulltime in d field n later in d 80s', mgrs dont go to field n I was wt d GL.....C componies.Let me ask one question to Rich, GL... were not doing well n this was raised in parliament so they decided to merge AEB/GH/Guthrie under Sime. Sime share pr is about 9 becoz the buisness keeping at this price. If they go on 100% oil palm n wt their 20mt yield their price may be similar to Fgv. Rich comfortable wt 10% dividen n why not talk about d counerparts who pay high dividends....!!!!!?????

I hv been highlighting in this forum that Felda must increase d yield/ha/annum similar to UP/Klk/IOI. Felda only getting 20mt of fruit which means is low n their not in d business.Top personnel unprofessional in oil palm plantation whereby they neglected in replanting program.Once d palm trees reaches 20yrs of planting must be replaced.Once new trees planted which is very costly, at d end of d 5th yr of planting, the yield must be 25mt to recover d replanting costs otherwise Co can go bust. If palm oil price is about RM3000, d weakness or poor m'ment may not be noticed but wt d present oil price around rm2200, cannot survive. Get rid of lazy M'grs, employ mgrs who r comitted n prepared to walk in d field for 8yrs. If d Govt adamant on weak policies, d voting right wt Felda settlers. I am writing this in good faith becoz I love my country. Employing ex-MB as d chairman a laughing stock. The CEO shd be about 40yrs old n a planter, PM shd tell d CEO, increase d yield to 25mt n bring to UP standard otherwise he shd be given d boot. Now d felda settllers voters is being felt in Rompin.I hope BN is reading this n I am prepared to be their adviser, i hv 40 yrs experience.

Over the weekend, The Edge weekly highlighted that Quill Capita Trust (QCT) will be a platform for MRCB to further its monetisation agenda. This follows the completion of its sale of Platinum Sentral to QCT last month.
Recall that MRCB is to receive RM740 million for Platinum Sentral, whereby RM476 million will be paid in cash. The balance RM264 million will be satisfied via new QCT shares which will result in MRCB ending up with a 30% stake in QCT.
More importantly, the report noted that beyond Platinum Sentral, MRCB could be keen to engage in another similar deal to monetise its matured property assets. The same report indicated that other property assets under MRCB’s stable that could be injected into QCT are the Shell Tower and Ascott Residences, which are reportedly worth over RM900 million cumulatively.
We believe that more asset injections into QCT will free up existing debt and increase cash flow streams via dividends from the trust (to be renamed MRCB-Quill real estate investment trust or REIT). More importantly, MRCB’s news flow is picking up.
Last month, MRCB confirmed that it submitted a bid to acquire the French Embassy land. The tender was submitted on Feb 12, 2015.
