Worked as a chief accountant in an international trading firm based in Hong Kong for 2 years. Presently a director in a Russian oil and gas company listed in SGX. Hailed from Kuantan, hence the pseudonym "salted fish" (Script only, please don't take it as a gospel truth, Lol)

1.5 sen with 170,100 shares done, you call it flying? Go look at Hevea!

Better not like Pohuat, yesterday very strong, today real soft. I like the way Hevea goes up gradually everyday 1-2 sen. Slow and steady!

Yes, the sudden dying off of volume means mission accomplished by the "operator". Ciao!

To be exact, Homeriz is in leather furnitures and Hevea's main business is particle chipboard (PCB) manufacturing. DIY furnitures are downstream business for Hevea. As such, to categorised Homeriz in the higher end furnitures than Hevea is only half true because these are different segment of the market all together. One is leather and the other PCB, of course leather is much more expensive than PCB.

Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud (pic) is expected to step down this month, after the Borneo Post reported the state assistant youth development minister as saying “it could be any time but it is definitely within this term”.
Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah also hinted that the announcement would be made at the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) meeting in Kuching this weekend. (Taib is PBB president.)

The quality of the nasi lemak is symbolic of the gross mismanagement of MAS' deplorable state of their services.
Ever wonder why they are continuously in the red and needed to be bailed out umpteen times? Their management is ensconced in their comfort zone, and professionalism and hard work are quite far from their minds.
They should rid themselves of all their 'fattened' executives and bring in quality staff like AirAsia or Singapore Airlines.

Par value for Homeriz is 20 sen. Therefore if the dividend is 5% per year tax exempted, then your dividend is only $10 per year or an interest rate of only 1.429% pa

You should sell all, sapphire. Homeriz PE is the highest among all furniture stocks at 8.8x. It is also the only stock that trades above its NTA of $0.36, at a whopping 1.86x. AND it has the smallest revenue of $103m among its peers (only one third of what others are doing, between $372m to $494m for FY 2012). Hence this stock is too richly valued at current price ($0.67)

How many can you swallow? Can't understand the notion that when the major shareholder sells share it is bad for the company. Oh come on, they don't list the company for you to sell only and they can't sell, right?

http://www.epochtimes.com/b5/1/2/28/n52235.htm

I am worried looking at the pattern of traded volume. Bigger volumes always happened on a T+4 means someone substantially involved is churning the trade. That someone can be the syndicate, a particular big punter or even the owner of the company. Open at overnight level then tried hitting highest for the day midway through the session and eventually closed in the middle range is a no no for me. Thanks but no thanks

Logging companies in search of takeover/consolidation targets will rule out Liihen as the company is using 100% rubber wood, therefore not their cup of tea. The imagination of Liihen becoming a potential target of well known oversea furniture companies may be a much more far fetched wild goose chase. Almost all of Liihen export to USA is to Costco alone. I have seen Liihen products (bedroom set in big carton box packing selling for $799) being retailed in the warehouse style costco outlets in the USA, along groceries, garments and millions other products. On the contrary, furniture products from Vietnam and China which are hardwood based are more upmarket and sold in speciality stores in the USA. Possibly the reason why the two are now the world's biggest furniture exporters. Liihen turnover of rm 400m (or US$125m) per year is peanut for any big furniture related company to even start looking at it
