Eden, if im not wrong, BURSA will evaluate every 6month whos going in and whos going out. Since IHH has worldwide attention, they put it as top30 for those investors to invest. Unlike FGV, who only have strong presence in Malaysia,Indonesia, newly formed in Canada and soon in Africa.

KAQ, if you mentioned 2013... I would have to agree with you, but it would be unrealistic to get it this year...Before merger, Sapura was RM 5 and Kencana would be RM3.20... If you add both figures and divide it by two, thats how 4.50 come about...thats not the accurate way to calculate but its a rough estimates...

I worked with them last year, and i know the projects and work coming into Kencana, and knowing the two brothers from Sapura, they are agreesssive...therefore i do believe this is a Goldmine in the making, and its a Buy and hold type of counter...another interesting counter to watch, is THHeavy!...excitement coming soon!... ;)

Oldtown broke the 2.05 resistance and closed 10sens higher...gosh few days of 10sens increment everyday, im sure it will stop for awhile for some breathing space...the only thing that fear me if the Monday's trade repeats, able to pressed down price to 1.97 in the middle of a hype..hope tomorrow would be another 10sens gain!

Agree with uptrend Siow, but its not breakout yet to 2.50...the vol still test on todays market...its a new resistance level...if vol is sound and close above 2.50.. Then it breaks new high...in the candlestick...it not the fat line yet...cant predict tomorrows new high unless confirms with vol passes that level...but yes...it definately going up or maybe goes sideways...either way, im still a happy man buying when it first launch and dipped on the 1st day

My TP for SKPetrol would be passing RM 3 and its for buy and hold kind of investment...contra players need to get your own margin in this volatile market times...see bb band so wide open....

AdamRyan, Should check on the TA's first, THH should break 1st resistance of 45sens, and it will meet the 2nd resistance, 51sens. But for Abg Ramunia, RM1 is too high for short term but i would agree with you on mid/long term, because, Tabung Haji bought Ramunia (then at 1.60)..

I agree with your remiser chineooi..it has always been this way that you hold until ex date and entitle for dividend and not the other way round...if you buy ASN, ASB or mutual funds, need to keep until maturity date then entitle for the full dividend and bonus, or else you will only earn a pro-rate dividend on how long you have hold in those account..but for this dividend payout, no prorate, just hold till 5pm ex date

For warrant, up to company , but its not real shares yet, its like a ticket for x value of share per unit...

Ys, there is risk and many scenarios, value of shares dropped after ex date, possible, last minute buys, also possible...and if you are investor, get in early at low price, and the choice is yours whether you wanna gain the dividend or gain capital appreciation or you wanna gain both!...u decide the strategy
