Malaysia is one of best performing markets among other Asean peers, according to recent media report.
Therefore, very likely that the foreign funds would notice the higher growth potentials of the Malaysian stock market.

With the appreciation of Ringgit against the major foreign currencies, more foreign funds would be inflowed into the Bursa Market hunting for blue chip strong fundamental stock and YTL Power would be one of them.

YTL Power is a solid utilities company with the capable management of Yeoh family's group.
It is one of the favorite stocks for foreign and local investors both institutions and retailers.

Heavy profit taking in banking stock today.
To tell you the truth.
I transfer my investment to PBA, a utility stock and might come back to here at a later time.

Foreign investment in Bursa Malaysia is a better choice. Countries such Singapore and USA could enjoy double gains with the rise of prices and appreciation of Ringgit.

Recently a huge amount of foreign funds has been invested in the financial sectors and PBBANK could be one of the foreign funds choices.in their investment portfolios.

PBBANK is a rock solid stock and its quarter net profit at 30-06-2024 reaches the highest level after so many years.

Tenaga National Bhd rises to RM14 before the afternoon break. So YTL Power far lack behind at RM4.07, there is plenty of room for YTL Power to catch up.

Unfavorable factors:
1) Escalation of Middle East war
2) Rise of oil price due to Middle East war.

The rest is up to the Bursa Market forces to react .

What I feel is that YTL Power should be linked to TNB . In so doing YTL Power would be able to immediately come to its aid when there were any major electricity interruptions.

Hopefully with the influx of foreign funds, more foreign investors would snap up more shares from Bursa especially one of the heavyweights , YTL Power.

Sorry the shares of USD 323 million was sold in July 2024

Jensen Huang of Nvidia, the partner of YTL Power in AI infrastructure, sold USD 323 million of Nvidia shares in August 2024.
1 USD = about RM 4.37
That would be about RM 1.4 billion.
If Jensen Huang would set a fund and use part of the proceeds to invest in YTL Power shares would be good enough.

Hopefully foreign investors will add YTL Power in one of their investment portfolios.
The foreign investors especially from Singapore and US would enjoy "double gains" with the rise of share price and appreciation of Rinngit.

Hopefully K1 would get a nice piece of cake and share it with the shareholders and investors.
