PH win means vivocom stand to lose more than gain:
- CREC ties could be impacted negatively
- if PH tighten governance in bursa, harder to do hanky panky stuffs like asking for RI with such company reputation
- ERCL or other no value projects may be cancelled impacting vivocom's orderbook
- vivocom now has less advantage in open bidding projects where there are many other more capable competitors with better reputation

darth, you may be playing reverse psychology, hoping the price will shoot up, but your energy is better spent elsewhere... your advises will not make a difference because retailers participation in this share is very low, even if they buy it is their lesson to learn... and they will still go to other ACE counters if it is their nature... so clearly you are playing reverse psychology here and wasting your energy and draining your emotion...

i had the same case with you in trive previously as in losing more than 50%... but in the end i won by being persistent... and realized all the bad energy/emotion while holding the share should be better spent elsewhere... the future is not written yet unless you sell it...

yes this is one way to win-win for the company and gang:
1. subscriber fork out money to subscribe, thinking they have averaged down their cost alot
2. after subscribe, gang analyse the non-gang newly averaged down price
3. push the price further down, this will very much weaken the strong shareholder grip because the shareholder just forked out additional money and their cost is much lower but still share price goes even lower
4. company and gang kills 3 birds with one stone:
-the additional RI money
-big emotional impact to those 'strong' shareholders who just subscribed RI hopefully they let go their shares at very low price
-the gang who just subscribed RI to sell some of these shares at some profit
5. retailers and non-gang members (non-retailers) got slaughtered

Bonus mother share dilutes EPS and price will be adjusted after exercise, but given Trive is a penny stock, the adjusted price should be nothing to worry about, meaning it will go back to its pre-adjusted price easily. And since this is a pure speculative stock, EPS means nothing haha..

The bigger worry is Macquarie subscription share at 10% discounted price of the last 5-days average, and at any time they want. Take current Eversendai as example, the price has been dropping since Macquarie started the subscription.

If I am Macquarie, this kind of private placement/subscription is a no brainer thing. Inject money into as many companies as possible, reap the 10% guaranteed return by selling to market. Like a quantity over quality kind of sales deal. One wonder if Macquarie sees Trive as another quantity-over-quality sales deal because you can say Trive is a crook company based on its directors-link and past performances..

However, if look at the bright side, is the current list of shareholders and its future turnaround/growth prospect..

Looks like the warrant will be listed around ~0.02, because 22 Aug closed at 0.12 and is adjusted to 0.11 on 23 Aug and based on a 1:2 ratio... although still not very sure if this calculation is correct, anyone can comment further?

How you know for sure if operator sapu to push up? Look at Trive as example for the past 4 months since October. Very high daily buy percentage, average of > RM 1 million everyday, does it mean accumulation started since October and now amounted close to RM100 million? It should be safe to buy Trive now since accumulation has taken place at 0.09 for 4 months with high daily volume? If chart/volume/movements are so easily interpreted, many would be made millionaires from share market already.

Maybe measuring genuine sharing versus self serving sharing can be done using the little inner voice in your heart, your head, your intuition or whatever it is called. The voice that transcends all where sometimes it nudge you in little ways from making a bad decision, action, etc.

For this article, it has more self serving agenda than a generally genuine, good and beneficial one. If I buy into this article and bought the stock, then made money from it, and made few more rounds from subsequent articles, most likely I will take the subscription to increase chances of making even more money. At the end of the day, I have gained little but just listening to rumors/articles/TA or momentum expert and fall further into the trap (subscription fees / as bait into pushing the price / other agendas similar along the line). Those who see through this should know that the article is not the end but as a means to an end (eg. something to trigger you to research further or probably as additional side note to own analysis). Overall in the end the article has more self serving agenda, except if the subscription fees is only a cup of coffee a year :D

Another example would like to quote is calvintaneng. His calls may be bad to worst call ever (for now), and he may be serving his own ego (intellectual/experience over the years/proud of ownself/other hidden agendas) but overall his articles are nudging you to be a non-greedy non-gambler investor, long term with safe margin perception, analytical mindset investor and best of all it is free. Overall the net result is more positive than a self serving one.

1. someone bought from MD via off-market on June, they are also humans like everyone of us here, which mean they definitely do not want to lose the money by selling lower (whatever game plan there is), or de-listing / bankrupt the company
2. the only way for those who hold the shares is continue holding (unless your remaining paper value is a lot or need the money urgently), this is the only way to beat their game, by being unpredictable
3. sanston group for whoever they represent is also partly responsible for Trive's push if I'm not mistaken, so very likely you're in the game since some time ago. Become unpredictable by holding longer term and not give in to panic emotions
4. if the share did indeed de-list/bankrupt and everyone made loss, then there is something beyond normal humans comprehension here

pussycats: I think they call them 'market makers' in the US. They are the ones providing all the buy/sell queue you see alot in penny stocks when there are actually zero/few buyer or sellers. THERE ARE HERE TO MAKE MONEY FROM EVERYONE OF US IN THE FINANCIAL MARKETS LIKE STOCKS. But they also provide the liquidity you see everyday, else where got so many retailers or real investors buying/selling? They also help to prevent large gap up/down in a stock. Since this is the work they do everyday, the one sure way for us normal retailers to beat them is to be a long term investor and buy before the action begins.

Yeah, this kind of movements cannot be described ie. who is buying and who is selling. I think they are the kind of movements by those 'market makers'. Those queues you see everyday where nobody is really selling/buying at that huge amount are created by them I guess.

Yeah agreed. Having one without the other is like having knowlegde but without the intellect to apply it, leading to stunted growth (value trap). Or the other way, being ambitious but without the knowledge of the pitfalls/shortcomings could lead to downfall (companies too depedent on receivables).

maybe another view that having cash could be better than great earning growths: having cash works across a wider spectrum of probable future scenarios, whereas having great earning growths target only a few scenarios predicted in advance. Still, like stockraider has pointed out, accepting both and not biased in one is definitely the optimal view.

Why no fund interested in this stock? Or want to wait after all the bonus and warrant issue? If I buy low and with the price going down instead of up, sure will take profit then come back later for the entitlement. If the price is higher than expected at that time, will move on to other counters and skip the bonus. I believe this is what most will do if they buy low coupled with the downtrending price since confidence is lost. Even I also lost confidence after holding it for months hahah...

With many good news like corporate exercise and egg price hike, market is recovering this morning, teoseng also can fall like this. Either some parties really playing the price or many is selling down and moving on to other counters. Can't think of anything else sigh...
