Its been 2 years since i bought UP. My cost back then was RM13.90 and i have collected RM2.20 dividends to date. Next month will collect RM1. My effective holding cost (ex dividends) would be RM10.70. If UP can provide conservatively 80sen DPS, my holding cost would become zero/ free shares in 13 years time or 70sen DPS in 15 years time. Conservative investors sleep well.

Very big profit when privatise loh!

Pls Note TSH at Rm 1.04 is a credible investment loh!

coz once interest rates goes up, then old Treasury bills could even less than halve their old values, bankrupting all repeat ALL US Banks immediately.

Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream of Netx;
Last night I had the strangest dream
I never dreamed before
I dreamed i saw a big screen showing Netx is price Rm 1.00
then i checkTo my cds there is 2.62m of netx
and the warrant cds there was 1.31m at 90 sen
i key & filled my netx sell orders they matched at 2.62m share at rm 1.04
i key & filled my netx-w 1.31m & that was matched at 95 sen
And 3 days later & go to the bank there is rm 3.96m showing in my bank account

TSH
At current price of around Rm 1.00 should be a strong buy loh!

Do not get confuse by emotional people- back stabbing TSH mah!

Thats why raider says Harta & Kossan are the best pick in gloves as the owner acted prudently & rationally mah!

Comparing ICAP to Magni?

I checked tradingview. On dividend and split adjusted basis, ICAP total return was about 1 time since its debut in Oct 2005 until today in Apr 2023. The annual return on compounded basis is 4.3%. In other words, over the 17.5-year period, ICAP has successfully earned the FD rate for its unit holders!

Magni, on the other hand, has registered a return > 17 times during the same period. CAGR is 18%.

Magni normally pays dividends on quarterly basis. At current price the TTM dividend yield is about 5%.

Meanwhile ICAP has paid dividend twice in its entire 17.5 years of existence. Not sure how to calculate its dividend yield. Maybe ICAP will pay its third dividend on its 20th anniversary, the time when it faces the unit holders’ vote to dissolve the fund?

Generally the key points raise by 3iii is quite good & sound loh!

But one very important point....is never never overpay for stock....no matter the stock quality of the stock is so good mah!

For instance Dlady use to be above Rm 60, but now below Rm 30 loh!

Good undervalue stock, still can buy more loh!

Do not worry continue to collect sapnrg when still veli veli cheap loh!

Alot of jokers especially the sorrhai mike gang trying hard to promote their stock in INSAS thread loh!

@stockraider These are the options: 1. Wait for the company to call a vote on the continuation of the fund, which is scheduled for the 2025 AGM. If this is passed (simple majority), the fund will continue for another 5 years. If rejected, the company will propose a special resolution (75% majority required) to wind up the fund. As I have mentioned before, there will be a no man's land situation if this winding up resolution fails. The company is supposed to be discontinued, but cannot be liquidated. Option 2 - without waiting for the 2025 AGM, any party or parties holding more than 10% votes can call for an EGM to vote on the special resolution to wind up the company, again 75% vote is required. So think carefully whether you can achieve the 75% threshold (of those present and voting, not of the total capital) to achieve your objective. I think this is what is holding back the vulture funds, in spite of the deep discount. They don't want to end up like COL, trapped with a big position and unable to exit one way or another.

Just votes for discontinuation 1st mah!

Then the next is liquidation loh!

Once capital dynamic is terminated .....the war is over loh!

All the icap shareholders will act rational will get back their monies with a good profit loh!
