In essence, it was not demonstrated that the High Court plainly erred in arriving at this decision that
ICAP's claim should be dismissed. The Court of Appeal concludes that the appeal has no merits in law
or fact and accordingly dismisses the appeal

The minority judgment of the Court of Appeal found in favour of ICAP on the following grounds:-

Lesson learn here is never never chase overvalue stock even if it is a bluechip like dlady mah!

If u have invested in Dlady at sept 2019 at a cost of Rm 58.10 today it is worth rm 33.00 u would have lost 43% of your investment mah!

On the otherhand if u invested in contraian unloved insas with margin of safety at rm 0.815 and together with the participating in the corporate exercise with free warrant...u would have gain 43% loh!

Do not listen to kon 3iii proposing his overvalue stocks for investment loh!

On the positive side.........HLI put the money to work........instead of passively leaving it idle in fixed deposits loh!

You only make deductions based on the transaction and ASSume what is good and bad.
Still it is ASSuming which has dual outcome.

U need to be smart loh!

Thats why investing in stockmkt not easy loh!

The key is always look for viability of the business, the strength of its balance sheet and the integrity of business owner and margin of safety mah!

At current low price and low minority shareholding......very low risk to buy bland mah!
