YTL Power's ESOS is not an issue as explained before. Most employees are locked in some form of moratorium and will hold the ESOS shares for long term.

Foreign funds started buying big on YTL Power in early Jan 2024 when the share price surged up from RM2.50 to RM3.60 in 4 days. They continued buying big in March-April 2024 when share price was between RM3.60 to RM4.24. I suspect the average cost for foreign funds should be above RM3.00.

Selling this morning should be done by foreign funds, as latest data shows that they offloaded some RM25m worth of YTL shares yesterday but most of them were picked up by local funds.

Selling this morning is likely due to foreign funds' fear of escalating conflicts in the Middle East, also spooked by the drop in US stock markets overnight.

When you see a strong stock with earnings support, don't simply shake with the market when it retraces; instead, stay still and bide your time until the profit estimate materializes.

A side note to fellow investors, every large fund, foreign fund manager in Bursa has the authority to shoot a stock and is not required to buy it back on the same day that we, (the individual) or personal investor do. Due to that, it create an excellence training ground for investors to build house on rock, not on sand. With current noise, it cannot shake a single bit of what I have invested, bcos my house are build on rock.

I got add yesterday of my account balance @4.90, I strongly believe, YTLP will perform very well coming few quarters. I also foresee, TP RM6.30 by MR OTB may even heading to RM 7.30+ instead.
