Higher EPS also means higher dividend payout. This dividend is final dividend (not special dividend) and confirm will get one. With the cumulative 3 quaters' EPS for FY2018 at 72.4 sen, according to AAGB's payout policy of 20%, the dividend is already at 15 sen per share, 25% higher than 2016 and 2017 which was 12 sen.

In other words, the THREE quarters of 2018 will already produce more value (dividend, and to an extent, share price) for shareholders compared to FOUR quarters for last year.

I think it's largely positive. Growing healthily. Load factor decreased because they increased capacity to anticipate further growth. Operating profit halved due to higher fuel costs, but remember how much was the oil price during June vs now.

EPS almost doubled. From a valuation perspective, this is very good.

Dividend yield is more than 12% based on current price (where to find?). Just that SD is not as much as everyone expected... Not sure how much of the SD is already priced into the share price...

@factorrumour: Totally agree. But I thought Sime plans to dispose their logistics part? They have a few ports in China and want to sell it right? CEO even hinted at giving dividends from the proceeds of the sale.

As long as you hold the share on the day before the ex-dividend date, then you will be entitled for the dividend.
