My opinion, this is not the whole story.. gov still need to subsidise low income group, which are the grass root supporters.. first step, declare free float price by removing subsidy.. then, see how people react.. if not good, they will introduce the fuel sub thru mykad or whatever card.. this way, whoever who doesn't have the card or not eligible, will pay the market price.. the target income group will pay using the card and enjoy the subsidy..
