該公司今日以全天最低開市，跌24仙或1.43%，至16.54令吉，隨後逐步收復失地，最終以16.70令吉掛收，是全場第25大下跌股。

今日，另一只出現在下跌榜的科技股是馬太平洋（MPI，3867，主板科技股），以14.30令吉掛收，下跌10仙或0.69%，是今日第19大下跌股。

雖然股價承受壓力，沒有改變分析員對該股的看法，艾芬黃氏資本分析員在今日的報告中指出，科儀工業2017財政年未計算利息、稅項、折舊及攤銷之盈利（EBITDA）賺幅擴大至33.6%，比2015財政年的32.2%和2010財政年的27.4%來得高。

因此，分析員看好該公司未來的表現。

長期賺幅料提高

2017財政年，賺幅提高主要歸功於測試業務以及規模經濟。雖然管理層認為近期賺幅不會進一步提高，但卻對18至24個月後賺幅擴大有信心，這是因為該公司將繼續投資以提高成本效率。

有鑒於此，艾芬黃氏資本分析員將該公司2018至2018財政年EBITDA賺幅預測分別定在34%和33.7%。不過，分析員指出，該公司資本支出可能為其盈利帶來助益，這個預測還有上行的空間。

科儀工業2017財政年的資本支出達到1億零700萬令吉，2016財政年為3000萬令吉。

2018財政年，該公司計劃撥出7000萬至8000萬令吉的資本支出，作為新汽車相關產品和擴大現有產品產能之用。

分析員預計，該公司2018財政年需要繳付的實際稅率為15%，而管理層的預測則為13%。2017財政年該公司的有效稅率為8%。
