Back to 7.75 again from 7.84 today.. what a good effort by the sellers with big blocks.. wow!! See.. how the price was defied from rising? Not sure how this so called "caps" gonna last. This also does not bold so well for Maybank bcoz big fund investors especially foreign will shy away from counters like this where the price can easily be pushed down quite drastically.. very negative points..

Most prolly EPF was given an "instruction" to allocate some of its funds to support and to assist in pushing up certain counters.. thus Maybank was "chosen" to be alienated eventho its fundamentally sound..

The main problem I observed with its price is when it tries to go up.. big persistent sell-offs will block its path. So looks like very hard for the price to improve when the intention of these sellers is "only one way - down". Sorry to the holders..

Lower OPR actually is good for banks. But It depends on how aggresive the banks e.g. in gaining loan (with lower interest rates) applications from customers..

I was here just a couple months ago and the price was hovering around 8.2-8.30. Now at below than its 52 wks low.. what happened to this esteemed bank?
