Wow.. dylan was spot on !!! So.. whats next ?

Saw potential in this counter. Got on boat today @2.18 (almost 52 wks low). Will hold for a couple of months. Hope for the best for everyone too.

• Noticed that most counters are at their highest or peak prices currently. Pls exercise caution as "thing that goes up will eventually comes down". The higher it flew the worst it will splat on the floor.

• This MH5218 plane is very heavy. Took off a bit ady but must have powerful jet thrusts then it will fly.

• With superb financial results and numerous good news.. the price has been stagnant for weeks already. What if suddenly got bad news in? Kaput!!! EPF also the culpirit.. using rakyat's money to inhibit us from making a bit of money on this fundamentally sound company/counter.

Today is the last transaction day for CQ, right? But maturity is on the 14th. What does this mean? Feedback plz.

Speculation.. then news:-

"In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Sapura Resources said it was unaware of any plans of an asset injection."

"On behalf of the board of directors, we wish to announce that the company has not deliberated and is not aware of any plan on an asset injection that will add an oil and gas operation into its portfolio."

Hope the drop will rebound and gudluck to everyone.. just exercise caution ya.

"SapuraKencana was also reported as in the midst of negotiating to provide two additional flexible pipe-laying support vessels to Petrobras, which will raise the Brazil-based fleet of its 50 per cent-owned joint-venture with Seadrill to eight.

SapuraKencana’s wholly-owned TL Offshore is also said to be leading in the bid to secure a transportation and installation contract, potentially valued at US$500 million (RM1.6 billion), for the Nam Con Son 2 export pipeline network in Vietham."

Looks like more good news in the pipeline.

Michael.. thats why many peeps here (mostly investors not speculators) got frustrated. Other counters flew high just based on rumours.

Not only that.. the price is capped for obvious reasons. Btw, how many shares EPF still own on this counter.. any idea?

Skpetro's price has been stagnant for the past 2 weeks despite numerous good news and buy recommendations from various research houses.

CKW.. ahh ok.. didn't realised that.. good then. No wonder the price was capped @4.40 and below since last week.

Don't be surprised if Skpetro close in red again today bcoz of the above. I do hope that doesn't happen tho but cap pressure is very strong.

CKW.. CQ's maturity date is this month's 14th. CQ was issued and will be paid cash by RHB depending on mother's average price this week.

• Next week is the average value for CQ. Lets hope certain big investors make Skpetro bypass 4.50 yes.

• I was badly burnt before. Since then I never ever wanna touch tis counter again !!! Be careful everyone ya.

Yes.. it shall move upward.. once CQ expired. Watch n see. I do hope its uptrend again soon.

Blugz.. not really. Some institutions are selling and buying back into their own hands to cap the price.. intentional. Just be patient and hope for the uptrend to resume.

Jinquan.. if average price @4.40, your CQ will be @0.080 but if slightly below 4.40, your CQ will be @0.075 (or almost 30% lower).

Patience is the key. Me opine the price cap @4.40 will be released once the CQ (0.075) matured..

So many good news recently.. nice. I'm hoping the price can break 4.50 in the near future. The CQ - when is the "average price" start and end? I think the price will not be capped once the CQ matured.

• Be careful everyone.. is the privatisation news really true? It was informed by "two people with direct knowledge".. who? Also "a khazanah offical said that the fund had nothin to add to its June statement". So.. which to believe?

• c_whwan.. yes.. all of my colleagues who have been holding on this counter left the boat last week. Good for them since they still made some profit. And none of them including me hold any Skpres or Sumatec shares. But I did mention before that I made a stupid decision not hopping into the Skpres counter early last week. Now this counter is going down. Didn't you feel the dssappointment from many peeps here, including me.. sigh! Dont think about yrself only ok.

• many small investors ady left this counter and went for smaller but green counters like Skpres, Sumatec etc..

Somehow I agree with Ring. Eventho this is a "Malaysia Boleh" land, at least EPF or other big fund institutional players should show some professionalism and give good example. Why keep supporting and gambling on going dead companies to help some rich cronies to make tons of money on their way out instead of good fundamental companies like Skpetro with excellent future. They prefer to be similiar to sharks, hold hands with other big funds and cronies and kill small investors like us, the rakyat. That why we heard countless times that the main big shark is actually EPF.. which is hard to believe right, but its true.

Yes.. depressing indeed. EPF with huge fund suppose to show a good example of a good fundamental of investing. But they performed like sharks.

Sorry guys.. looks like I may leave the boat today. Losing confidence in this counter.. hoping but keep seeing red. In fact I regret bcoz I was contemplating to enter Skpres (almost same name) 3 days back on Tuesday.. but I hold on to this counter.. what a stupid decision indeed. Now my paper profit is getting thinner and thinner. Pls dont bash me.. I blame no one but meself ok.

The company's "current order book stands at RM27 billion" - wow! "Business growth is our main concern and even the shareholders have asked us to reinvest instead of giving out dividends," - good for long term investors!

Yep.. tomorrow it will start to go up again. No one selling @4.36 in the final 10 mins closing.

I'm not thinking of buying more.. but whether to sell with reduced profit. Was expecting it will go up a bit more but looks like its trending down. Still holding. Need feedbacks pls. Wanna read you guys opinions. Thanks.
