Kudos to CEO Tan and all your 60 excellent staff , if you were to go through the records of Elsoft since her debut in Bursa from 2005 , Q1 2015 is the best Q1 result in terms of revenue and NP. Q1 2015 NP (RM 4.725mil) is almost equivalent to FY 2011 FULL year NP ( RM 4.783mil ) . As a shareholder , I am delighted with this fantastic result even though Q1 is a low season for E&E ( electrical & electronic ) sector . I will continue to increase my shareholding to be in T20 club soon . The money is yours and investment decision is also yours . Once again , my salute to Mr. Tan and all your dedicated team .

The Core Profit for Q1 2015 was RM 120.8mil less provision for Unrealized forex losses on USD denominated loan for this Q is RM 77.6mil , that's how the NP of RM 43.1 mil derived . In fact Pmetal's Q1 2015 result beats estimates of many IB's prediction . ( Plz refer to RHB Invest for details of Q1 2015 analysis. )

Points to ponder :
1. EPS 3.58 cents vs Dividend declared 3 cents per share which is equivalent to 83.79% of EPS
2. Provision for Unrealized forex losses on USD denomination long term loan is over RM 100 mil .

The above 2 simple reasons demonstrate that Pmetal have a very strong balance sheet and cash position .

ivankvs , major shareholder CEO Paul Kon converted approx. 220mil Pmetal loan stock to mother share early this year giving up 6% per annum interest , furthermore , he need to add rm 1.00 or rm 1.10 ( I can't remember the actual conversion rate , plz check ) meaning he n his family gave approx. rm 13mil of interest per year as income but not only that , he needs to throw rm 200+ mil for the conversion , that's show how confident he had in this company .

Alluminium price continue up trend to closed higher by 0.53% ( USD 10 per MT ) to USD 1883 per MT .

Alluminium price closed @ USD 1873 per MT on 28th April , up 2.02% ( USD 37 per MT ) 4 days in a row ( 23th,24th, 27th & 28th ) alluminium,s price gained USD 80 per MT ( 22nd's closing price was USD1793 per MT ) after the day AmResearch released report on 22nd April that China abolished export tax on alluminium but without high-lighting only certain specification / sizes will enjoy the tariff cut ( how unprofessional ), the question here is , " Are there any hidden agenda for AmResearch to throw out a half true report on alluminium future market scenario ?

FYI , there is premium for immediate delivery stock , approx. usd 400 per MT on top of LME pricing . Pmetal focus on immediate delivery segment more than trading in future contracts .

Rosmah is correct as Q4 ends on April 30th so rightfully the Q4 result should be reported by or before 3oth June .

Aluminium price closed at USD 1818.50 per MT , up 1.79% .

@1lottrade, you Can Not just simply post something without any logic substance , when a PP is approved by the BOD and offer to the fund market , there are certain conditions set for both offeror and investors . It is a fund market norm for PP to come with a PROFIT GUARANTEE within certain timeframe and the PP investors will execute DUE DILIGENCE to ascertain the said company's financial position and other forensic comparison such as RISK VS REWARDS before a decision can derived . As for the Offeror , a moratorium period ( PP takers are NOT ALLOWED to dispose the PP within certain agreed period in the contract ) will be imposed to the PP buying party . PP are only offer to institutional investor not to any Tom , Dick or Harry , so to just plug from the air that PP investors sold within days after placement is a BLATANT LIES !
