My cut loss concept: is different from the FA & TA experts. As I continue to buy any share, the price will continue to go higher naturally. I will cut loss as soon as the price drops more than 10% of my last buying price. In this way, I am sure of making money.

As I said I will start buying at the pivoting or turning moment. But our most expert chartists would only recommend buy when the share crosses the 80 or 200 day moving average when the price has already gone up much higher. They will not buy even if its financial analysis is excellent because they want to be sure that it is really moving north. But by the time they recommend cut loss, I would have sold to pocket my profit.

The Gadang price chart shows the pivoting or turning point of its trend reversal was 88.5 sen. It dropped from a high of 132 sen which is equivalent to Rm 3.30 before the corporate exercise of bonus shares and warrant and share split. The price dropped 43.5 sen from 132 to 88.5 sen.

I have started 10 days ago buying Gadang at 88.5 sen and hope to gain 43.5 sen which is 43.5 divided 88.5 = 49% profit. As you know, Gadang started to drop when it announced its 1st quarter reduced profit of 6.5 sen eps on 27th Oct and most investors are expecting a better result for the 2nd quarter which will be announced before the end of January 2017. I expect Gadang price will continue to go up until it announces its 2nd quarter result.

The last closing price on 16th Dec was 98 sen, a gain of 9.5 sens, a gain of 11% in 10 days.

I have to decide when I should start selling to make profit.

How much JAKS down from it peak?
Gadang reported dropped profit in 1Qtr ony, not loss and the directors explained and told FY17 2Q will be goog and the whole year at least can at par with FY 16

From my experience, I always lose money in my 1st contract in constructing a new structure which I have not done before. For example, my company did the Rawang Cement Factory. During pricing for tender submission, I thought I could easily construct those huge cement silos and the 300 feet high chimney. As a result, most of the assumptions I made during tender preparation, did not come true. Eventually I lost money.

I also learned the difficulty in working in a new country. In my 1st contract in Hong Kong, I nearly went bankrupt because all the assumptions I made to achieve the cheapest tender did not come true, everything cost more.

In my first contract work in Australia, the labour union nearly made me commit suicide. It looked like the union only interested to make life easy for their members at the expense of the contractor. For example, workers are not allowed to start work after any rain because the ground is wet and slippery.

U know or not, KYY can sell JAKS down big time since he got a lots of shares, until you kennot tahan,,,, at the lowest price... which he can keep blocking the upside by parking a lot of sale Q, than buy back...

If you read carefully his articles, and if I am not mistaken, he did bragged about things like this... saying margin so good... I lazy to find out the articles for you... U go read....

may be you can make use of the proceed to buy other company which is shooting up in near term, or longer term like 3-4 months, rather than waiting JAKS for 4 years.. where the future is uncertain at the moment. U earn 10% from other company, then next Q Jaks show you better results, you have more assurance, may be pay 2% more than the present price to buy back, If JAKS went down 5%-10% starting tomolo, when the next Q result come out have some improvementt, you buy back at 3%-7% higher than the lower price, still cheaper 2% - 3% than the present price.

U sell, and see he wanna buy or not,... than you wait, until the company at least make some profit and cash, and the picture getting brighter that you can see more clearly, than only buy ma... let KYY hold for you first. later pay a bit premium to buy...

JAKS so good, you all sell to him la, then he can be Chairman CEO and kick other non-performing Directors out of the Board. Let him own the whole company since he is so confidence, like once dunno who said " sai-lang... dare not sai-lang dun buy" see he dare sai-lang or not, kakaka

China can do break even or even loss making project if need be, for longer strategic plan. how about drag somebody in to contribute a bit for the calculated loss? kakaka, so good the project why JAKS can get? AND hor... to calculate the IRR, JAKS needs to estimate the future net cash inflows... kakaka, you know estimates la.. some more power plant is meant for very long term...and everybody knows the longer the time period the more difficult to get accuracy,,,,

no sifu wanna teach me what is IRR and how to use it, so I have to google and got a rough idea:

IRR rate is the rate that the company need to earn to break even the capital outlay.. that mean the returns must be 12% for dunno how many N years (until the power plant stop producing income) just to get back 7bil capital cost at net present value. and the returns...

AND hor, this is not how we use IRR. it needs to compare to the company capital cost. If the company capital cost is more than 12% die lor, that mean that is a money loosing project in Net Present Value terms... else the project is worth investing..

QUESTION:

What is the capital cost of JAKS? anybody know? dunno than mean you think you can have 7bil x 12% after project is completed, kakaka, mati lor like that...

keke sifu, I actually sold a lot of Gadang recently, not that it is no good, but the big players wanna collect. When they wanna collect, they press like mad.. I channelled part of the money to to JHM and GBG. one made almost double, another got 10sen, GBG son lagi baik. more than 10% in a week or 2. later la, wait the big boys collect enuf and the price will move, then pay a little premium to buy back some...
