I think Kali will engineer a snap election since PAS is split and not enough will cross over to form a Kali+PAS+UMNO govt. With a snap election, which he can call by advising the ruler to dissolve the state assembly and with him as caretaker MB, he has a better chance! But I still think that a PKR+DAP govt will be returned since the voters in Selangor are more educated and informed. Given this, I thin Kali will hedge his bets and sign all approvals on an irrevocable basis before he effect a snap election. If a PKR+DAP state govt is returned, they can revoke the agreements only if they pay generous compensation. Or they may just revoke the agreements and let the issue play out in the courts.

stkoay. I love high beta stock. If I can jive with it, I'll make more than pocket money. SONA is not so high beta-wise. SONA-WA went down to 27 sen, after rising to 31.5 sen. I sold and now bought back again. Anything below 27 sen is good buy. It's likely to go back up again above 30 sens in 45 days or so giving a 10% gain. Longer term it should rise since it took over a producing oil-field (Salamander in Thailand) and exploring an adjacent block. Risks include the possible drop in crude oil price due to the 'fracking' revolution that greatly increase oil output from shale. Jacklin recommended SONA a month or so ago before it went up. For high beta-stock and tiger-like excitement, try SEAL.

Just a final shot at those touting their personal honour for the sake of the newbies: A person who touts his/her own honourable intentions is almost certainly NOT honourable. This is because real honour is given by independent third parties. As the bible says: 'Let someone else praise you and not your own mouth, an outsider (meaning: independent third parties) and not your own lips (Book of Proverbs 27:2). If a person praises himself by touting his/her honourable intentions, he/she is usurping the rights of independent third parties (i.e. you and me who have nothing to do with the person so advertising his/her own honour) to praise or NOT to praise. Such a person's intention/motives are very, very unlikely to be honourable!
