There has also been much activity at counters such as Sumatec which is controlled by TSHS, also a Daim associate. Sumatec, which is Halim's flagship now is among the most actively traded counters on Bursa daily.Since early June, Sumatec has gained more than 65% and ended trading last Thursday at 44sen, coming off a high of 62sen in the middle of last month.

If it is indeed true that Daim is pairing down his holdings, he and his associates must be looking to exit with a bang. Judging by the strong volume and share price movements seen in the counters connected to him.

A breach of the 48 sne barrier will lead to a re-test of the recent apex of 62 sen. If some are not too happy with sumatec and think that this is a lousy counter they should just leave Sumatec and buy counters which they think are attractive. Seriou investors like me have studied on this counter since early 2013 and only decided to invest in May'2014. If the decision I made is stupid than let it be as the saying goes 'Berani Buat Kena Berani Tanggung". Too many negative vibes might not be a good Feng Shui for Sumatec.

What may many say in this forum, I have invested substantially in this counter at 0.27sen and 0.29 sen and am still staying put with Sumatec. As a genuine investor, we need to think mid to long term for good gains. Short term gains are more of a gambling nature. My personal opinion. Sumatec will definitely give good returns between 6months to 1 year.
