Dengan nada sombong dan angkuh, Menteri Besar Pahang, telah mengeluarkan kenyataan kepada media bahawa beliau akan memotong telinga dan terjun sungai Pahang jika DAP boleh menang di Parlimen Bentong yang dipegang oleh Menteri MCA iaitu Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai. Ucapan ini juga disampaikan kepada NGO Anti Lynas yang berjuang untuk penutupan kilang Lynas yang pernah berjalan kaki sejauh 300km dari Kuantan sehingga ke Dataran Merdeka dan bermalam di sana untuk menunggu MP datang menerima memorandum .

Wong Tack, iaitu pemimpin Himpunan Hijau, akan bertanding di Bentong sebagai calon DAP menentang Dato’ Seri Liow Tiong Lai dari BN. Adakah saudara-saudari sekalian berminat melihat Adnan Yaakob memotong telinganya dan terjun ke dalam Sungai Pahang? Maka Undilah DAP untuk menutup keegoan Menteri Besar Pahang.

2% interest for NFC.......6% interest for the poor Malaysians.
In this clip you'll see BN wanting to change a 6.5% interest rate for low cost housing aimed for those earning less then rm1000 monthly.

Opposition request that such rate be brought down (after all, interest rate charged to Sharizat's family for NFC is 2%).

Nong Chick then states if charged at 2%, the interest saving is "SMALL, JUST RM80".

My point #1: is RM80 a "small amount" for those who BN are trying to "help".

rm80 x 12 months = rm960, that's like getting a month's bonus at the year end!! Is it small?

My point #2: politicians should really think twice before they say something. In this case, it seems like Nong Chik failed to understand the plight of the RAKYAT (either that, or he doesn't care)!

Pulau Pinang mencatat sejarah menjadi negeri pertama di Malaysia yang menghapuskan masalah miskin tegar pada 2009 dan menjadi negeri pertama menghapuskan kemiskinan menjelang 2012 dengan menjaminkan pendapatan bulanan setiap keluarga sebanyak RM 770. Mana-mana keluarga yang kurang, Kerajaan Negeri akan tambah bayaran wang sehingga mencukupi RM 770 tiap-tiap bulan. Ini merupakan satu pembaharuan sistem pemerintahan di bawah Pakatan Rakyat.

Kerajaan Pakatan Pulau Pinang telah membelanjakan RM 100 juta dalam 5 tahun ini untuk menjalankan program-program kebajikan seperti berikut:

1. Bantuan bencana dalam tempoh 24 jam yang bernilai RM 500 – RM 5,000.
2. Diskaun 50% setahun kepada lesen penjaja dan nelayan
3. Bantuan air kepada rumah ibadat
4. Mikrokredit (PTSR)
5. Pembinaan Pusat Dialisis CAT di Balik Pulau – RM 30 setiap rawatan yang paling rendah di Malaysia kepada golongan miskin.
6. RM 100 setiap tahun kepada warga emas , orang kurang upaya, pleajar emas, dan ibu tunggal
7. Peruntukan untuk bantuan sekolah agama rakyat
8. RM 1000 untuk urusan jenazah
9. RM 1000 untuk IPTA emas
10. RM 200 untuk anak emas

3. Menghapuskan monopoli dan penswastaan oleh kroni dan memperkenalkan persaingan pasaran yang sihat untuk memastikan keperluan dan perkhidmatan seharian berada pada kadar rendah
3. Memperkenalkan pengangkutan awam yang lebih efisien dan murah

To play safe, better for DAP to use PAS logo in Pen. M'sia & PKR logo in East M'sia. From my knowledge, almost all my friends will vote either PAS or PKR when there isn't a DAP candidate in their respective constituencies. Better not fall into the trickery & deception of SPR & BN!
