It was during 2007 if i m not mistaken..a major restructuring involving bjgroup/bjcap/bjland for their inter co loan settlements...whoever went thru this made at least few hundred percent gain...but that was long time history....those bought in bjcorp after vincent tan goreng up got burnt badly...

A stock still cannot far from its fundamental. no need give too much when still cannot see the quarter result after vietnam project running. based on current pe, even no vietnam project, still worth. but when price fry until 60,70,80c then u only buy in (vietnam project result still cannot see yet), anything happen u dont blame old fox loh.... kikiki

Hi Icon, the 12million population is overstated as there 60% of it will be muslim and hence gambling is not allowed but in Vietnam, muslim is minority. So, the propect of bjcorp venture in vietnam should be much higher than malaysia.

Don't trust Vincent Tan n his shares. I know him long enough. He personally is an opportunist, a miser and would not let shareholders to benefit much. He ploughs back any company profits and invest in his many baby companies A, B, C & D etc. Even if you go long in his shares he makes sure that you get measly dividends. I hope he is not reading this. Sorry for this comment but true to my understanding.

BJCORP got its own problem... lots of debt, bad in property developer... cosway was privatised in high price and cosway end up losing $$ now.. BJFOOD and BJAUTO losing shine already. BJTOTO too
