govt need to think long term, to reduce these racial and religion kind of thing. While adults are harder to persuade or to change(but doesnt mean is not possible), children are the future of the country and shouldn't be exposed to any potential of race and religion extremism , need to be taught that race ,religion extremism is wrong and any source of extremism have to be identified and children should be shielded from these elements.

If we look at the GE14 result, you will see that Harapan did much better in Urban states but fared badly in rural states like kelantan,terengganu, pahang. While UMNO and PAS are into race and religion, Harapan doesn't need to be on the same page as them, just need to offer these voters something better than race and religion which is a better live hood. When they see their standard of living getting better, they will know what is best for them and their children. Sometimes u need to widen the view of others because what they could see or feel which is very limited but to them it is how big the world is.

Beside that, we need to look at why there are ppl joining or being recruited into terrorist groups. Understanding these ppl will help to identified the source of the problem.
