never trade in airasia or aax before because I dont believe airlines globally make money except for a few like SIA. All the airlines globally usually are loss making companies.
Hah. They think it was nice kicker deal, divert cross marketing , big sponsorship from airbus over there. Don’t know the real intentions ; But I don’t think it’s to make QPR famous, maybe more for benefit of AirAsia.
He is just another greedy businessman. Still remember he got discount for the private placement given to him when Airasia share price was cheap & don’t really need the money. Subsequently, he sold off the fleet of airplanes at premium & paid back the shareholders with special dividend. He pocket few hundred million easy money by doing this.
The Telegraph cited an email from one of the executives to a senior Airbus employee where the former said he was “fed up” and owed “four million already and I’m owed 16 million in total”. “This should have been paid ages ago when I bought the first 60 aircraft. I want my money,” he said.
