PAS does not need to act innocent. It is open secret that PAS is a divisive force using religion. Their stealthy operation is evident since Dr. M became Prime Minister and he often had problems with PAS operatives.

History has records of PAS underworld operation.
The attack on police station in Batu Pahat (OCT. 16, 1980) saw eight fundamentalist shot dead.

The next was Memali incident. in Nov 1985.
After that various deviant groups sprang to cause havoc.

They managed to sever the harmonious relationship between the various races.
They used religion to break up. Since then, their thoughts immersed into civil service and now it is contaminated, beyond redemption.

There is no need to use law to justify their demolition action because
every effort to legalise is intentionally blocked by warlords. It has been going on for ages. They don't have to pretend to be smart.
