The answer is obvious lah

Top glove wanted to be in Fortune 500 the exclusive club of US domination. Even huawei also got kicked out

Supermax is still relatively unknown so little threat

As for Esg on gloves and palm oil US should banned its cigarrete and weapons export

Gloves protect lives and palm oil is food while cigarrete cause cancer and pollution and weapons kill people

Orang asing ini semua "susu dibalas air tuba" Working in a cleanroom environment, all must adhere to strict discipline and cleanliness. Ungrateful foreigners don't deserve to work anywhere.

It will be abnormal if CBP applied same standard to all cases of the same nature. The same to 'Democracy' with double standard applies in Western and Asian countries. Apparently more to those whom posed threats to USA.

I totally agree with you. US economist, Richard Wolff, said there is no such thing as free trade. 'Free trade' is only used by US for PR purposes. The US uses other weapons such as 'human rights', 'ESG'..etc against others when they cannot compete.
Maybe, TG boss thought US is a beacon for 'free trade'.

200 workers a room. Wow wow wow. What room is that? 200ft x 500ft room?

Hall thought he is very clever. This is just one side of the story from workers.

Posted by BlessedInvestor > 2021-08-11 12:27 | Report Abuse

BTW, CBP is always double standard. Hall so naive.

Supermax is a Sedex Member. What focus msia report is only one side of the story.

Even Apple also have violated forced labor in India and China until the workers commit suicide and Indian worker protested and start fire. Apple still selling like hot cakes in US and listed in US exchange.

I have worked more than a decade in a Japanese factory hiring more than 9,000 hands and the facilities provided to locals and foreigners are not as good as what glove companies provide. The company hires Indonesians and not Nepalese. Very little complaints as all of them are so eager to work, earn a living and send money home to their family. These Nepalese are ungrateful and glove companies should not consider them anymore.

I agree with you. When you nare huingry enough you appreciate your job, opportunity to work. Indonesians work very hard with little complains. Nepalese are OK if they workin security, but many are lazy and vindictive
NO REASON FOR US OR ANYONE TO BOTHER ON SUCH MATTERS, SO ENTHUSIASTIC, FOLLOW WORKERS TO THEIR COUNTRY. THEY SHOULD SPEND MORE TIME AND MONEY LOOKING AFTER THE POOR IN US, THE HOMELESS EVRYWHERE. WHAT A SHAME!

The migrant workers housed by TG have better lives than the homeless residents in the US. They have good living dormitories, food and recreational facilities provided.

The homeless people in US should watch this if their lives are better off than the migrant workers in Malaysia
