Although we are bullish short term on Hdd due to good demand by Data Center and Ai

The scene ahead can suddenly change if Trump comes into power


As such our strategy is to sell DC Related stocks into strength and switch into the more defensive 🌴🌴🌴

In times like now

Safety first

Return of capital is more important than return on capital


Protect from downside first

Then only think of gain

unit sales no increase, only asp increase, yet want to build to order mean they want to control hdd supply, much worse than glove time

2 very important points to note


1. Hdd versus glove

China could set up Glove factories in just 2 months
But you need up to 20 years for Hdd like Jcy

Seagate said over 70% were orders by Oem

In order words China buy from Seagate then rebatch them under their own brands
There are no competing Hdd makers from China


2. Hdd stacked with multiple actuators still the lowest mass produced in the market

Nothing can overtake this till year 2034 and by then All Hdd makers already reap early windfall boom

Uppermost concern of a DC center or Ai ventures is cost

Lowest cost still goes to stacked Hdd with actuators

So there is no cheaper alternative in sight for now

It was the cheap gloves that emanated from China that done it in

For Hdd it is a complete domination by Seagate, Western Digital and Toshiba

So they have pricing power

Good for Jcy, Notion and Dufu are supplies are contained and limited

For limited edition sure they can charge more
