A very quick check shows these: as with most ACE counters, its par value is 0.10. NTA is 0.06. 12-month Low-High 0.085-2.12 ...
Based on its business performance and assets, it never should have gone above 1.00 in the first place, much less 2.00. Ooi Teck Beck is right: it looks `cheap' right now *comparatively*, i.e. if you compare it to the previous high. At 0.615, fundamentally it is still very, very high (if it is a 1.00 par, the price would be 6.15 - like Telekom Malaysia, which Cybert definitely isn't anywhere near to).
Yes, if one is lucky, some syndicate might goreng for a rebound and one would get a profit. "might"... For me, it's way too risky because Cybert is not worth much.
The company made an announcement yesterday of an acquisition. No big deal. By the way, its business of vehicle-tracking is interesting and with potential. But the share price will have to be lower (and stabilise) first to attract a serious investor (as opposed to "contra speculator").
[Cut & Paste] The Board of Directors of Cybertowers Berhad wishes to announce that the Company has acquired a new subsidiary company on 16 July 2012 with the name of Pioneer Streams Consolidated Sdn. Bhd. at a consideration of Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Thousand (RM200,000.00) only ("the Acquisition").
Pioneer Streams Consolidated Sdn. Bhd. is a MSC Malaysia status company, incorporated in Malaysia with the paid up capital of Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred Thousand (RM100,000.00) only. The principal activity is to carry on the business of fleet management and GPS tracking system.
The Acquisition is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets or gearing of the Company for the financial year ending 31 August 2012.
None of the Directors, major shareholders of the Company and/or person connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect in the Acquisition.
Cybert today closing price of RM0.60 is on its 200-day average. Further, the resistence experienced on 30/3/2012 was also at RM0.60. Technically, this resistence can turn into the support for Cyberts tomorrow. If this support was broken, then the next would be RM0.525.
i am not familiar with cybert. something must be drastically wrong for the stock to plummet so bad especially when time of exuberance now. as i did not study this stock, my take is only hearsay at best.
maybe some bros' take may clue you in. a penny stock jumping above RM2 without any basis will surely entails SC enquiry and then spook the punters. My take: the spike in price is unwarranted, thus now reflecting its true value.
Technically unreliable to analyse this counter. Other important 'external' factor must carefully to look at. Fundamental also unreliable. Don't go in with TA & FA.
The technical indicators, resistance levels are now secondary in Cybert's case. I doubt whether there will be a rebound to 1.00 and above. That's because it shouldn't have gone there and past that in the first place. As KC Loh had said, there was no real basis for it to spike up so high. Now it is finding its real level - there might be some rise when it finds the bottom but I don't think it will be worth the risk. Most likely, it will stay very near its bottom, whatever it is, for some time yet.
he will be waiting for the rest of his life there waiting and waiting unless it gets delisted just trying to scare all those poor souls who bought this ctr
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
