@Lan Yong How, this week the price is under correction, if you have not buy any Priva shares, you can collect now at lower price of 0.375 to 0.370 & wait for it to go up to 0.40 by next week (hopefully)..
If you can take some risk & keep the stocks for a while, you will profit from it. If the price keeps going down to 0.360 or lower, you decide if you want to cut loss & enter again when the price is stable or going uptrend.. Anyhow, in the stock market especially in the ACE Market, no matter how good are the stocks, its heavily driven by people's PERCEPTION, EMOTIONS, NEWS, GRAPEVINES, (Good/Negative) that have effect of the SUPPLY/DEMAND..
Our Malaysia Bursa Market is quite unique.. we dictate our own terms, conditions, pricing, etc.. unlike the US market (DJIA/S&P500, Nasdaq) which is more transparent & too big to be "manipulated"...
Since you are a newbie, stocks like Priva, Wintoni, Frontkn, Systech, Genetec, CAP, etc are momentum stocks.. meaning they are influenced heavily by market demand/supply in which certain big players will dominate & dictate the price movement.. Anyhow, all these stocks are fundamentally strong & have great growth potential thus this Big Players (which I like to call them.. some call them Sharks, Syndicate, Operators, etc) will come in on this penny stocks (from few cents till RM2.00) to profit from all this counters..
If you are fast enough & can spend more time monitor it, you can make handsome profit from it but if you are not, then you may want to choose less volatile stocks like Mpay, Efficen, Esceram, BioHldg, etc.. which will take you from 2 weeks to 2 months to have substantial profits..
What I have share here is just my personal opinion/observation, please do your due diligence when making a purchase on the stocks.. Anyhow its your money & you DECIDE on how, what & when to invest, how much to profit, cut loss, etc.. since I do not know your risk profile (how much risk can you take in the stock market)
A thousand thanks is not enough, a BILLION THANKS TO YOU MR. RAYdiant for being so explicit in your advice.from now on I wont hantam buta-buta.Thank you again.
No worries @Lan Yong How.. I first started trading 5 months ago.. just like you a newbie.. a friend of mine who is a local dealer has been trading for the last 4 years (and makes lots of money) and encouraged me to trade in stock market rather than putting all the $$$ in the FD which only fetch a miserable 3.5% to 4.0% a year which is not enough to cover our inflation of 5%.
Hence there started my trading journey.. along the way I made many mistakes.. in the beginning normally you will make your very first $$$ in the market.. then follow by greed, hear-says, rumours, fear, so-called expert tips, etc... where I started to lose money.. not a little but quite a lot for a while..
Then an awakening moment came.. where I started to be more focus and continue to trade to turn my losses into gains.. where I recovered all my losses in about 2 weeks & my trading account turn from red to green..
All thanks to these momentum stocks which I mentioned earlier.. Having enough money gain from my trading then I started to invest in myself by attending Investment/Trading seminars which I learned the foundation/basic of trading/investment (fundamental/technical analysis, etc)..
Hence its really an "exciting & interesting journey" to trade in stock market.. provided you can allocate some $$$ into stocks.. a good start where you can learn the basics is from www.investopedia.com/
@JaniceLove, @Lan Yong How.. you are most welcome..
some people are more receptive & open to share their knowledge & experience.. some are more reluctant/not open to share.. that's normal..
the world is so full of opportunities & possibilities.. so I dont limit myself by keeping it all to me..
It has been said "Its a blessing to give than to receive".. "the more you give, the more you receive".. with this "Pay It Forward" belief and practice.. I know the more I bless, share & give, the more I will receive it..
Hi Stevenmargaret, since this is a Priva page, I respect it by not sharing about Systech here.. hope you understand.. pls goto Systech page where I will share more.. Thanks!
RAYdiant - worst was those who always instil fear and greed among others.. Those who always thinks they are the best, never lose money and belittle the others. Sick of those~~
@Stevenmargaret, based on today's movement, 2.2MIL bought @ 0.375, 1.4MIL sold @ 0.375 & 1.4MIL sold at 0.370 (due to profit taking day, normally on friday & T+4), 0.370 is a definitely a good buy.. Myself & others bought at higher prices earlier at 0.375 to 0.380.. so we will leverage it out by buying on 0.370..
But thats half the equation, I do not know your risk profile or whether you are short-term trader or long-term.. If you are not playing contra, then it shouldnt be a problem bcoz next next Priva will rebound..
based on last record where Priva peaked at 0.415 on Mar 31st, the next resistance (TP) would be 0.405.. then 0.415.. if if cant go beyond this point & break out from it, then the next support level will be at 0.360.. hence it a good buy at 0.370.. risk 1sen to gain 3.5sen to 4.5sen..
@C-put, I understand how you feel & experienced, me too.. after I attended the investment/trading course, then I know that most of the time the stocks are driven by People's Perception, Sentiments, Emotions, etc.. pick good fundamental stocks and let the market dictate the price movement ie. technical analysis..
hence for those who are trading in stocks esp. intra-day, daily traders, short term, heart must be strong, our psychological & emotions must be strong & need to be detached from the ups & downs..
otherwise we wont be able to sustain in the long term (perhaps got heart attack when stock market is on a roller coaster period)..
my pleasure, Stevenmargaret.. all the best in your trading..
just a little tip if I may suggest, goes to where the money $$$ & momentum is.. please have a look at Trending Now - Hot Stocks Today & you will get a big picture of it.. (Except for O&G related counters where its very dependent on the O&G price movement & quite volatile, the rest you can use as a guide)
no worry....long term investment into a profit company is worth it...as u can see priva is making good profit and sustainable to 2020....i am a temporary mangsa as bought @ 40cents....haha...stay calm
hauchen.. thanks for your optimism.. you are right.. long term it will sure go up.. perhaps you may want to average the price to buy now since its so low now (cheap sale)? can consider about it.. :)
