The Board of Directors of FCB wishes to announce that the Company has received the approval from Taiwan Authority on 27 December 2016 for the Company to dissolve its wholly-owned subsidiary, FTC.

FTC was incorporated on 14 March 2007 as a limited liability company under the Taiwan Companies Act for the purpose of acquiring and hold the group’s share investment in Ares Green Technology Corporation ("AGTC").

As at 27 December 2016, FTC held 7,873,637 of AGTC paid up share capital and this represents 23.11% of AGTC’s share capital. On 30 December 2016, FTC has transferred all its AGTC shares to FCB and all FTC’s assets and liabilities were merged into FCB’s book, including FTC’s 23.11% AGTC shares.

FCB has been consolidating the results of FTC being a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary and upon the dissolution of FTC, FCB would be holding AGTC’s shares 23.11% directly instead of via FTC.

The Dissolution will not have any significant financial and operational impact on the Group.

None of the Directors and major shareholders of FCB or persons connected to them have any interest, directly or indirectly, in the Dissolution.

This announcement is dated 4 January 2017.

In 2017 should break higher high of previous...End of Feb last quarter results released should be great results. Then financial year 2017 you figure it out what their results will be. I expect it should be even better. Since can't buy at 0.16 now I just see it go up. lol

Supreme, while I'm not too sure about quarter 4 but semi conductor industry doing quite well for some of the articles I saw. Not sure if can impact the performance though. I mean you can google and search for it. Then weakening USD against MYR, this one need to see the quarterly results based on quarter 4 assess for 2017. I mean you assess for yourself la, cos if you buy any stock you have the responsibility to take care of your own money. I like the Company for its management, eg you see receivables amount is properly managed, you can see reducing one, meaning got collect back money. Prudent management. Determine your own entry price and exit price. For me I don't mind waiting till 0.30+ already start accumulating since long time ago. Just waiting for another round since then.

Then Supreme I think you have your point of concern cos in certain financial years, they do make losses in the last quarter. But in FY2016 management keep emphasizing on "Accepting that the Group's overall margin will continue to be thinner as a result of cost-down by our customers for the months to come, we will continue to be vigilant in our cost management and continually explore ways to improve efficiency to enhance our profitability". Taken from pg 13 the latest quarterly report. Which I buy my opinion into it.

Nick, I completely agree with you! Semi conductor industry is good but they are too dependent on Taiwan and TSMC specifically. TSMC is moving to China, so moving forward I think their Taiwan subsidiary performance will not be so good. I think I will take some profit at this level

0.30 is my wishful thinking and don't be greedy just because someone in his opinion think really can go 0.30. Money is hard to earn and easy to lose. I've been in the game for 15 years and only the past 2 years I make overall profit. Other years are losses. No one will tell you how much losses they make cos no face ma. People will only brag about how much they earn. Think about it.
