Basically all are not good enough. Good at selling proton only. Most surprised to me is FGV price. FGV price is obviously something wrong from IPO. All are failing economy in school.

Retain BUY and GGM-TP of RM6.45, based on 0.99x 2020 P/B with assumptions of 9.6% ROE, 9.7% COE, and 3.0% LTG.

This is largely in line to its 5-year average of 0.90x and the sector’s 0.99x.

In our opinion, the valuation is fair, considering RHB’s current ROE generation is similar to its 5-year mean and sector average.

We continue to like the stock for its appealing risk-reward profile given strong CET1 ratio of 16.3% (vs sector’s 13.7%), which permits the ability to divvy even more; we note that RHB’s current dividend payout ratio of 40% is still below the sector average of 45%.

Also, it is one of the very few domestic banks now with the ability to churn healthy profit growth rate (3% vs sector: flat).

Hong Kong protests continue to disrupt operations of local banks
Banks advise customers to use mobile banking amid suspension of the services of a set of branches due to protests.

Continuing protests in Hong Kong keep disrupting the operations of local banks. Today, a number of bank branches are closed due to what is (in a politically correct manner) referred to as “public events”.

HSBC published a notice on its website warning that several of its branches are closed today:

“HSBC University of Hong Kong Branch, Festival Walk Branch & Premier Centre, Jade Plaza Branch, Central Branch & Premier Centre, Exchange Square Branch & Premier Centre are closed on 12 November 2019 due to public events. HSBC customers can use the Bank’s Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Phone Banking or self-service banking terminals. We are sorry for the inconvenience and will provide updates on the operation of our outlets as the situation evolves”.

Standard Chartered has informed its customers of nine branches affected by the “public events”.

We maintain “overweight” on the sector premised on appealing valuations and dividend yields due to low share prices.

Our top picks remain RHB Bank Bhd (fair value [FV]: RM6.50/share) and Malayan Banking Bhd (FV: RM9.80/share).

— AmInvestment Bank, Nov 11

RHB ... fair value = Rm6.50

Strongest BUY !

Based on comparison of 8 major bank counters in Malaysia, it is found that currently RHB Bank is not ranked as the TOP 3 bank counters worthy to invest in. However, RHB Bank stands out in performance indicators such as having positive and increasing earning per share trend in the last three financial years.

Dr Dzulkefly said the Boost e-wallet was implemented at 4 pilot locations namely, Cheras Health Clinic, Kuala Lumpur Health Clinic, Precinct 18 Putrajaya Health Clinic and Seremban Health Clinic since September.

“In the next two years, we want to expand and operate nationwide as long as our facility has internet access and patients are still using their mobile phones.

“(With that), we can make cashless payments anywhere,” he said.

The initiative was organised in collaboration with Axiata Digital Ecode Sdn Bhd and RHB Islamic Bank Berhad. — Bernama

Forecast. Unchanged.

Retain BUY and GGM-TP of RM6.45, based on 0.99x 2020 P/B with assumptions of 9.6% ROE, 9.7% COE, and 3.0% LTG. This is largely in line to its 5-year average of 0.90x and the sector’s 1.00x. In our opinion, the valuation is fair, seeing RHB’s current ROE generation is similar to its 5-year mean and sector average.

We continue to like the stock for its appealing risk-reward profile given strong CET1 ratio of 16.9% (vs sector’s 13.8%), which permits the ability to divvy even more; we note that RHB’s current dividend payout ratio of 40% is still below the sector average of 45%.

https://www.ccn.com/dow-rockets-toward-record-after-us-china-broker-last-minute-trade-deal/

The Dow Jones soared back toward record highs after the US and China reached a “phase one” trade deal.
Boeing (BA) stock weighed heavily on the Dow 30 after China expressed concerns about the 737 Max jet.
Goldman Sachs remains optimistic for 2020, forecasting a low chance of a stock market-rocking recession.
Following a midday hiccup, the Dow Jones rocketed back in late afternoon trading to approach the record high it set earlier in the day.

The catalyst for the recovery was Bloomberg’s report that the US and China had reached an agreement in principle on the “phase one” trade deal that investors have been waiting on since October.
