nothing will happen to Sumatec wa during rights issue but warrant price will be impacted according to remisier. If can hold 1-3 years, then this is opportunity to goreng back this warrant.

If the last traded price b4 ex is 0.5, then it shld be 0.175 x 4.1= 0.7175 + 0.5 divided by 5.1 shares = 0.2387 (theorectical ex rights price)
New warrant exercise price is 0.32, so the warrant should be at least 8 cent. But as usual, warrant is 40 percent higher, so I assume the warrant price is 0.12

Current warrant price is 0.23, exercise is 0.35, and total is 0.58
If you convert 1000 warrant to mother, you pay 580.
580 + 717.5(4100 rights) = RM1297.5
RM1297.5/5100 = RM0.2544
You got 1000 free warrant for every 4000 right issue, in this case, you will have 1025 warrant. Assume the warrant worth 12 cent. U will have RM120.
RM1297.5 – 120 = RM1177.5
RM1177.5/5100 = 0.2308 which is cheaper than the mother listing price.
0.2387-0.2308 = RM 0.0079 which is 3%+ lower than the new listed price.

Case 2
Current warrant price is 0.25, exercise is 0.35, and total is 0.6
If you convert 1000 warrant to mother, you pay 600.
600 + 717.5(4100 rights) = RM1317.5
RM1317.5/5100 = RM0.2583
1317.5 – 120 = 1197.5
RM1197.5/5100 = 0.2348 which is cheaper than the mother listing price.
0.2387-0.2348 = RM 0.0038 which is ard 1.7% lower than the new listed price.


So the warrant stil worth more than 25 cent?

Leo, why don jus sell the WA at 23c n 25c n topup 27c n 25c to acquire the mother share instead of exercising it at 35c. WA holders all bleeding til no blood already.

if u buy already,dun worry ,just spend time for mother share or warrant,sumatec is goreng counter,i will be fly agains,now still no reach a ex-date for mother share,may be it will drop agains but u have to hold for few month,when goreng it will be up agains.sumatec goreng up and down very fast one.
