Ringgit already devalued 15% against USD n definitely at present price , it ha been lowered another 15% n totalling 30%drop...good or no good investment is up to market forces...To me ,I like lower price n not the moving up price...since I m going for real long term...so it is ok for me.

GST will seriously hurt the Toto Business.

Option 1:-
1) Toto charges ^% GST to customer.
If toto do so, then I can guarantee their business will at least drop 30%.

Option 2:-
1) Toto absorbed the 6% GST.
Then profit margin will be drop by 6%.

I am not sure whether you guys has ever buy those illegal 4D, their benefit is much much better than those legal 4d (Magnum or Toto).

Example:-

Illegal A offer 15% discount. That means, I buy RM100, they will discount 15%, so I only pay RM85.

Illegal B offer 10% increase in prize. That means, if I kena the prize, they will pay me extra 10%-15%% above the market prize.


So you imagine, if you are really a punter, will you continue to buy legal 4D, or you will switch to this type of illegal 4D.

If the Govt is fair, then it should treat it like the car industry. 10% sales tax is replaced with 6% GST which comes out to about the same in absolute terms.

Gaming industry already paying all sorts of taxes hence GST should substitute a portion of the existing gaming taxes.

when u strike illegal 4D 0r TOTO , whatever monies u received , u have I option only that is gambling away all the money or spend lavishly ; the reason being u can't buy any asset or property with the ill-gotten gains unlike legalised 4 D or TOTO . Or else the tax peoples will go after u even to your grave yard....

Apart from usual dividend declared quarterly VT should consider rewarding shareholders other way eg free warrant, bonus issue, etc. Otherwise share price very hard to move back to RM4 despite very good dividend yield at current price.
