MFCB largely gain from the hydro electric power project and forex gains only. If u strip these items out, the net revenue and profit is slightly lower vs 2015. I doubt this can be sustained

Laos hydropower project could fetch as much as RM4.43/share. Upon the full commercial operation of the hydropower plant, we forecast that the Don Sahong Hydropower could contribute as much as RM4.43/share (WACC: 7%) based on our DCF valuation.
@Hippo Sifu, lately the mother seem to be preferred over son. At one point the warrant was at high 1.310. Warrant expiry is April 2020. If everything goes well, the Laos plant should be operational by early 2020. What are the risk of this warrant in your opinion? Thinking should top up mother or son now. Cheers.
My criteria= net cash company, buying near its nta, international business, decent roe and got pay dividend, most importantly hydropower can boost earning substantially when start business. Then i buy 1/2 mother 1/2 warrant. A lot margin safey i feel..
@10bagger10.. what is your plan for warrant since it will expire by 2020 which is when the hydro power plant starts? are you looking to hold the mother and warrant till 2020?
got blog ma... i3 one.. got ppl analyse that can fetch .7 per share when hydropower start business.
any way if we do rough calculation now current power plant how many megawatt and hydro how many megawatt we can roughly estimate future earning. but no guarentee correct ma.. but if the price is low no harm buy lor.
Can Someone pls summarize the hydro power business?
MFCB is given the contract by Laos Govt to construct and build the Don Sahong Hydropower, which will be fully completed by 2020. After which, MFCB will be able to collect earnings from the generation of power from the hydro power....
Thanks so the bulk of earnings are coming from the construction sectors, which by end of 2017 expected to complete 50-60%. This will enhance the earnings by RM 100 -120mil more.
After 2020, MFCB will be eligible to collect payments from the Laos government (like a toll operator?)
