Look at the trend of Mflour. It used to give higher dividends. Look at quarterly report last night, used to give in March. So, hopefully we got "Ong" to get special dividend as they open Indonedian factory last year ... mFlour also keep moving like snail ... Upwards! Better than downwards, ya? :). Read also PBB opening flour mill ... Another competitor :(
Thanks Abudance. Now I understand where you coming from.
1. Slow like snail but as long as it moving up slowly and give out dividend then I'm more than happy since I'm going to hold for long term. Unless something happen later or in between that the company no longer a good long term investment target and the management also did not do their good job.
2. In a mature market, its always a good thing to have a competitor and not the only one that monopoly the whole market. This way everyone have the chance to improve and move forward and be creative and plan a better business strategy. So I welcome PBB into flour mill business.
3. If their management is far better than Mflour then we can also consider a switch. We are invest for long term and future :-)
Powerpk, look at the trend. Brfore the splitting of shares, it gave a 62 sen dividend. Then they had problems with mill in malaysia. Then it dropped from rm2.20 plus sloely drop to rm1.20. Then they open in Indonesia and now its profitable again. Since then from rm1.20 its been chugging along the slow Choo-Choo train till rm1.62 now and has given 3 plus 6 sen dividend. So waiting to see if will give another 3 sen dividend end march ... :)
haha... thanks Abudance for the sharing. I know some of the history and background too. I am old man and does not really care for the choo choo train. Most importantly at the end of day like 2 to 3 years from now the share price on the uphill trend in general. Of course they will go downhill some time but that is okay. Same old thing as long as we are buying good counter and with good management we are in good shape. Even it drop now they will go up back slowly, just a matter of time.
I do wish if they given another round of dividend does not bother how many cents :-) since I invest long term so just want to see the consistent grow of the company and their future plan.
Let see how they do in next 5 days transaction. I'm just looking for one cents up per week..... maybe should called choo choo choo train for some folks.
My assumption simple., for every Q they are generating EPS 4.5 cts, yearly EPS 18 cts., they do not need addition money for expansion unless the said Myanmar plant, tat appeared in the highlight 1 or 2 years back. So simplicity, likely there would have payout regardless small or big. cheers.
To certain extend I agree with yfchong. There is possibility that they will keep the money for other purpose instead of distributed to share holder. Whatever the management try to do they will think twice before they implement it. I have confidence with the current management :-)
The un-audited Mflour report is good the bird integration segment and flour trading is giving the driving force. Where can i get the contribution fr Indonesia., request for little help fr forumers. Thks
Today very sien need to wait until FOMC, btw , Mflour GM improve by 2% point, OM by 2%. Still intact. So hardly to go down , overall last year EBT was 93M, looks good. Average 5 Years PE=10.92.
Look like folks are waiting for some excited announcement to push this counter to move.... for the last three weeks the price movement is slightly behind my target hehehe....
@samcghee - I did buy some too last week at 0.365 and 0.37. Please don't consider that my opinion as stock always have up and down and we are not the one that can control it. So use it as reference. But like I always say, if the counter fundamentally strong then we should be okay. Even it drop.... 1. It will come back up one day. OR 2. It won't drop that much 3. Time flies and we will receive dividend if they did not move for years then we just receive the dividend until it move :-) Note: This does not applied to warrant but when mother move warrant will move too....
If you don't agree the above then think twice before you buy it
@suz99 - I won't say what price is best to buy certain stock. Because it hard to buy at the lowest and sell at the highest all the time. So let go back to basic.
Ask you self these questions and I believe it help you to make some good decision. 1. Why you want to buy this counter? What good about this counter? 2. Are you aim for medium to long term investment? (As mention this counter for long term investment) 3. What the risk level for this counter if anything happen to Global economic? 4. Can you still sleep well if you buy this counter today?
Hope the above help you to make some quick decision whether to get in now or later :-)
this milling Co's. LT debt is less than 28M, short term about 5XXM, that grows in tandem with business needs. No other need picking. Is good if the Y2014 can achieve > 110M profit., then will go back to the past times., Lol
@suz99 - If you are afraid and not sure then take small bite at a time. Buy some and reserve some money for future buy. If it goes down, you have money to accumulate more or average down. If it go up later at least you already enter the boat.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
