last year mco1 cig was stock out every where. management is smart this round, previous QR report shows bat carries high inventory. sales will jump for this coming mco month by pushing the inventory to outlets.

Very simple. Full lockdown will distrupt operations for BAT for sure. No one knows how long this lockdown will last, maybe 1 month. But worry for what? After open panic restocking means next quarter will be better. Investman is correct. People who claim that lockdown has none to minimal impact is crazy. Please do not mislead people.

Contraband cigarettes will be badly hit during full lockdown. Small stalls selling illegal cigarettes will be shut and movement to distribute these contraband will be further curtailed. BATMAN should benefit as they have been carrying record inventory to mitigate this risk, cheers.

More details of mco 3 will be known tomolo....today already started...." More like MCO 2 " except
if you want to Buy food like supermarket they Limit 10 persons in One Time....All Delivery Cigs
and Vegetables remains exactly like MCO2 ( Mco 1 is by-gone standard Or no standard )

Almost 100% of BAT raw materials are imported from Indonesia...Ports are allowed to unload
BAT raw materials (store at Port Area Or even direct delivery to BAT storage ) After 2 weeks of
1st Lock down BAT can operate/manufacture again ( while existing Stock can sustained 14days
no manufacturing )----I think management already sending massive stock to 7-11 already

Even in MCO 1. most convenient stores ( 7-11) can by-passed what is essential and non-essential
items bcos they restock everythings Cigs Or Maggie Mee---------same as essential items

The mco only interrupt their duty free sale which is not new in last year and current situition. The extra stocks(100mil) can sustained 4 weeks was announced by management. this extra 100mil be found in their last quarter report (inventory).

It is MCO sell down, almost 90% of counters down at opening, go look at the major non medical counters. most sell first, partial rebound a later.

i am highly suspicious about Mr. DIY financial Results bcos i visited some of biggest outlet in
Cheras and Subang during MCO and other time. The most these outlets can only breakEven if
their rental is Cheap ( about 10 people every hour for 6--7 hrs per Day with receipts less than 20 )
The main problem Mr DIY items price are mostly higher than local Hardware store by 5%
