“Hence, we are maintaining our neutral stance on the property sector. The sector still lacks a strong re-rating catalyst.
“That said, we may see some trading opportunities around the sector rotation theme/better market sentiment [revival of major infrastructure project such as KL-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR)] but it could be short-lived if weak sector fundamentals persist, we think,” it said.
Maybank Research's top pick is Sime Darby Property as it has an advantage over many developers.
As a land seller, it can monetise its landbank for additional income and use the proceeds to self-fund its property developments or reward shareholders.
“Its relatively stronger balance sheet (0.26 times net gearing in end March 2019) would help it to sail through the prolonged slowdown in property market, if there is any,” it said.

Question,: build a 4 season hotel, how much cost, if not sold wants business, what's the price paid by investors? Okinawa hotels, icelandair hotel ,property build lauch recently at KL etc, when can bjland minority can harvesting? 1cent dividend or none each year and market price no one sustain by BOD which gets huge paid & remuneration periodically.

Property developer Berjaya Land Bhd (BLand) announced on Sept 30 via Bursa filing that Hong Kong-based hedge fund manager Penta Investment Advisers Ltd has emerged as a new substantial shareholder. Penta Investment added a 2.23% stake or 111.33 million shares worth RM76.8 mil based on the closing share price of 69 sen on Sept 23 (purchase date). The acquisition lifted Penta Investment’s BLand stake to 6%. Interestingly, Penta Investment was founded by John Zwaanstra, a former Soros Fund Management LLC managing director.

May b bursa took notice of bjland unusual artificial activity...thats y today volume is not inflated anymore. May b ncbo trade was performed on bjland recently.

I only q 1000 lots at buy, I did not place any at the sell q at the same time. I do this normally when I dont get to but a stock at the price I want, all any other shares non problem for me.
i was just trying to see how those seller react , but unfortunately the system reject my order .
I think we should be worry about this stock now cause last month I was trying to buy with contra margin account to see if the stock is in high risk group , and it doent go through which I expected.
as for your info , not all the stocks can be bought with margin account , such as Daya, Thheavy.
Not so active anymore. No NCBO is allowed since last Friday. No margin is allowed anymore at this price. Pure cash holders can buy. Margin call subsides.
