随着钢铁价格走高，四大钢铁公司 Annjoo, SSteel, Masteel, Lionind的股价齐齐走高，2017钢铁大趋势是否会历史重演？
回顾历史，2016-2018钢铁大趋势是由3大主因催化而成：
１）中国钢铁大幅减产，
2）大马政府实行钢铁反倾销税，
３） 本地基建蓬勃发展，
而这一次的上涨，主要是因为中国经济复苏，基础设施发展陆续重返正轨，导致钢铁需求上升。
从基本面角度来看，个人觉得本地钢铁公司业绩要恢复当年勇有一定难度，原因如下：
1）钢铁价格走高的同时，钢铁原料（Iron Ore）的价格同样走高。
2）本地钢铁出口到中国的多数是半成品semi-finished products such as e.g. billets为主，赚幅较低。
３）中国是最大钢铁生产国，本地钢铁出口到中国必须经历强劲竞争。
再来，本地钢铁业者要翻生的催化剂，绝对不能少了本地基建的带动。随着Budget 2021公布，许多大型基建工程预计将2021 2H陆续动土，可惜，到时候钢铁价可能会因为中国钢铁业者大量增产而回落(Normalized)
加上自2018年起，本地钢铁业者又多了一个强敌-中企联合钢铁Alliance Steel （年产350万吨钢铁）
个人觉得今天钢铁业的“未来盈利清晰度”对比三年前似乎还不够清晰，所以股价涨势要像3年前一样强势的可能性应该不高。
