Ok if you have the account size, short Media Prima then. Better to put your money in your mouth rather than posting bearish comments without evidence to support it. Btw the drop today is nothing related to the company fundamentally.
Tomorrow we have Inflation data. Then PPI. Last but not least, BNM interest rate decision.
Don't be so obvious. You just want the cheap shares
I am happy to see the change in BOD. Time to renew the vigour once again. Hopefully this time they are able to boost the revenue from CJ WOW SHOP which contributed significantly. Target would be more than RM500 m. And please dispose some of the unnecessary media assets.
I do believe in Malaysia as an emerging market. Are you questioning the official data and economic indicators published by BNM? They have analysts to report to. Lol.
A significant portion of my funds are allocated to US, Vietnam and Taiwan. I am not going to panic sell because of some political uncertainties and economic concerns
Sounds like you are shorting Media Prima. Ok let's see how it performs in the next quarter. Either you the bear wins or I the bull wins. A lot of your comments come from TopGlove, Serba Dinamik, Syf so maybe your analysis could be correct. So I will take your bear case into consideration. Thank you!
Media Prima (BUY, TP: RM0.61). We believe that its future growth will be supported by its home shopping business, digital segment as well as from the stronger adex sales through its integrated advertising solution OMNIA. Coupled with a leaner cost structure, its earnings is now more sustainable which should weather through short term headwinds. https://klse.i3investor.com/servlets/ptres/60131.jsp
Bloomberg: Can you explain more why you’re less worried about emerging markets? Shamar: To me, the upturn in the commodity cycle and the fact that the cost of adopting new technologies has fallen a lot and are being adopted very rapidly now across emerging markets, including some of the poorest countries. I think that gives me a lot of optimism about what can drive emerging market growth in the years ahead.
If it can reach 0.60 also i will be glad and thankful

sigh....it is really weird, ya, AIRASIA made huge losses but price still better than media...funny market...media boss got no money to support the price...lol...till now only 1 lot was traded...my cost is not high so still can hold but will cut it once hit my CL point
Bought some today because there's some unusual volume here. And also this stock is supported by decent fundamentals as well. Good turnaround opportunity but it comes with high risk for sure
