Although the speed & magnitude of YTL's rise in '23 has been nothing short of mind-blowing(to me anyway), it's unlikely to drop much below $1.5 if it corrects because the funds responsible for this move(sorry, not talking about you, EPF🤣) believe Francis' promise of a 7-9c dividend next year & they apparently think this co. has great earnings visibility at least 2-5 years down the road. So the all-time '11 high of 2.12 may not be so impossible after all. To put it in context, if I were to sell my remaining shares now, YTL would instantly leapfrog a S'porean stock & a Japanese stock to the TOP of my 2023 earnings tables, ahead of 92 other stocks earned from this year. Surprising given that my investment here was in paper loss continuously from 2016 till May '23!

The current YTL rally IS supported by fundamentals

As I've said, we just have to annualise their current half-yearly EPS, and we'll see 16 sen

8 sen divvy out of 16 sen earnings is a very realistic expectation

i dun think HSR will have solid plan soon bcz without the govt fund, the project hard to be profitable and hence hard to be materialised.
