LE LE, for UOAReit, the ex-date is 1st August, if you sell on 31st July, you do not get the dividend. You can get dividend if you sell on 1st August. :)
Those who make money from penny stock rally recently can park their money safely here. Can receive more than 10sen dividend per annum, double FD interest rate.
agree with you, Rich. I am now moving my portfolio into companies that have good dividend yields record. When everybody start buying in speculative nature, it's time to be careful.
I don't know what is the minimum dividend yield EPF will be looking for from REITS. If we guess that it is 7% than the price will go up to about RM1.50 and if it is 6% than the price can go up to RM1.75. Giving a potential share price appreciation of 5.6% to 23.2% from the current levels. It will be interesting to see how much capital appreciation we can make.
Additionally, I had a concern on the public share holding spread. This now diminishes as EPF has the funds to pick up any additional shares that is released into the the market.
i think the price will go back to historical high RM1.50 soon...7% dividend yield is still attractive compare to most of mall related reit which is high price now, give 6%.
Slowly will rise to RM1.50. Everyday the support price also going up. Soon another round of dividend which is better than putting money in the bank and loosing value thru inflation. Good luck to all.
REITs my favourite, X.Mi. Recently collected income distributions from UOAREIT, IGBREIT, QCAPITA, PAVREIT, YTLREIT & SUNREIT. Next quarter CMMT my latest addition.
Speakup, Yes, in a way. My core REITs are UOAREIT, IGBREIT, YTLREIT & SUNREIT. Being earning-oriented, dispose off YTLREIT & SUNREIT @ high unit price, remobilise leverage of sales proceeds to acquire QCAPITA & PAVREIT for their high 2Q income distribution.
EPF Selling, wonder why? In 2 months time will declare another dividend distribution. Are they afraid of oversupply of office space and reducing yields in the future???
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
