PETALING JAYA: Alam Maritim Resources Bhd is embarking on a new share sale exercise that could see savvy investors Tan Sri Quek Leng Chan and Paul Poh emerging as strategic investors, according to banking sources.
Alam Maritim yesterday requested for the trading of its shares to be suspended for two days to make way for a “material announcement” after the stock shot up 10 sen, or 6.4%, to RM1.65.
is like that, big buyer got discount, small buyer cant get any discount,it is normal in the market ,so u need to work hard n invest smart to be rich n become big buyer...hopefully tomorrow price can go to 1.80 to 2.00
See what happen to the shares price the next day. HL also get discount when buying Ezion. Can talk abt dilution lah, discount lah, etc etc etc....but remember the RM160mil Alam get it is to reduce their debts and also paying for a vessel. This is one method of raising the capital or else they will have to continue borrowing and pay for the interest.
wow with issue price only 1.35 of cause will open lower la...wat the hell cant understand those who even thinking of opening higher tomorrow....seriously what are u thinking? @@
as knew; quek & poh r aggressively perform M&A in O&G biz, quek also one of the "stone" beneath SONA. believe quek/poh did not subscribed to alam for the sake of debt or interest.
looking back, when quek does something, sona price become volatile. checkout quek o&g m&a recently it looks like he has a plan, but whether market has the patient to wait for the rabbit to jump out from hat is subjective.
guess, at very least, market can agree that baseline for Alam is $1.35 at least. good luck folks!
Let's looks at today's news on SP Setia. Tan Sri Liew sold his last 2.75% to PNB at RM3.95 in a off-market deal yesterday. So what? Yesterday the share price down 1 sen to Rm2.91 and today news out only up 2 sen to RM2.93.
What I m trying to say ... If u think the big shark/player like HL boss and gang buying at discount and the minority buying at high price ... then sell all your Alam share tomolo when market open, why bcos u re not looking at the fundamental of the company. Short term doesn't look good bcos earning diluted by issuing more shares, but long term IF the company got more projects coming, it got enough fund to finance its project and increase its eearnings in the future. The placement meant for further growth ....
On another hand, the dumb PNB paid RM 3.95 of 2.75% for SP Setia. What's a steal, why don't you buying SP Setia when market open tomolo, now only RM 2.93, market price cheaper by RM1 ... so what do you think??? Who is smarter?? PNB or HL Boss or YOU??
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
