saturn, tap your expertise for Trop. In this latest quarterly result, Jointly Controlled Entity contributed RM78m to operating profit, which has never happened before. Any idea what it is ? can check with Danny ? (your ex boss ?)

(conspiracy theory : saturn was ex senior management of Trop. Kicked out by Yau Kok Seng. That is why he always crticized Yau, but remained loyal to Danny)

pputeh Danny is the big boss of trop lah... he is the younger brother of vincent. originally he is in BGroup. But after vincent's son took over, they squeeze him out. So he set up own shop. Now he is doing better than vincent (who is still fxxxing around, without corporate direction)

according to page 168 of annual report 2012, there are two jointly controlled entities (both in property development). One is Tropicana Ivory Sdn Bhd, the other one is Tropicnana Danga Cove Sdn Bhd.

Not sure which one contributed to this latest quarterly result.

The jointly controlled entity profit could come from JV with Ivory which us a RM10 Billion project in Penang. Ivory share also jumped on Friday.
