no one can always win in the stock market, but one can always lose in the stock market by investing/punting without studying the background and general environment.

this is what we see in many sub-forums here.

take for example parkson.

i raised my concerns that parkson china is unable to withstand the competition both from brick-and-mortar and online, but none of the die hard supporters here r able to rebut me, and keep on citing the so-called strong financials of parkson plus its turnard plan.

this is called not looking into the general environment.

next, i raised the question of parkson's financial and brought up the fact that after paying off the bonds etc, not much cash is left in the bank for expansion, but these die hards refuse to see this simple fact.

this is called not studying the background.

thus, these die hard supporters deserve losing the money they invested in parkson.

Who is Joetay, but a nuisance here. If you say you are as good as you say you are, then write an article in i3 to make your case why you say parkson is doom vs what the other analysis is saying. They have buy calls on this stock and they make their case. Show us what you are made of and stop talking nonsense here. Dear Mr Joe Tay Ya Yee,
It is not very nice to troll and make fun. I should know after many decades coming out in the news paper and TV.
Perhaps more analytic review would be better. After all even scrap metal has some value. Well, for information I am also a Parkson shareholder buying just 1000 shares at 54sen just for fun.
Since both of us have played the share market for many decades, sometime fundamental companies remain stagnant while rubbish companies shoot up. Remember Repco, Union paper and many more in the 1990s going above RM100?
We all are here for one reason or another but hopefully to learn about the share market. I wish you well and have a nice day.
