How to bring a country up and stand up high among all those developed nations? Easy, it starts from automotive manufacturing and moves to high tech industries! That’s what PM is planning and implementing now! — if this works for PERODUA, then MBMR should worth more than 5+.
MBMR NTA 5.32, net cash company (0.73 cash per share), ROE 11 coming with whopping dividend of 13%! —Watch out, Market doesn’t give a single mercy on this!
It's been 3 weeks since i collected OMODA. So , here's another my review from me to share with you guys. This is from my personal experience, might differ from other OMODA user.
1) google map navigation pretty smooth, waze don't really work. (For info im a android user, so i use android auto. No idea with apple carplay waze utilisation)
2) My steering wheel started to have unusual soft popping sound when turning the steering wheel few days ago. I suspect parts not tighten enough on the suspension system. Not always, quite disturbing as steering wheel shall be quiet during turning. Will contact service center asap.
3) i encountered many vehicles coming opposite way blinking their highlight to me during night time which means omoda headlight is pretty bright and disturbing. Not 1 , not 2 but few vehicles. Even i have turned off intelligent high beam and adjusted headlight to lowest level in car setting. Remark: But of course for us as Omoda user, the headlight is really bright and clear
4) wind noise mainly comes from loosen rubber attached to doors. Just simply plug them into position will reduce wind noise.
5) A gentle close of your Omoda's door would not work. You need to slam it harder to ensure door is tight.
6) don't bring your smart key along when you're pumping petrol. Else the tailgate will open automatically when you're standing behind your car. (You can turn off this feature in car setting)
7) Lane keeping assist (LKA) detection a little weird. Sometimes steering wheel gets pull back even i have turned on signal.
Other that above, all are goods. I'm LOVING my OMODA in the sense - AMG like ventilated + electric + leather seats , make up lighting, crystal LED interior light faded mode after doors closing, ambient light, AC mode (front windscreen, face and/or leg), modern looks gear knob, checking on tyres pressure & temperature, 540° camera, Voice assistant hello Chery) - powerful engine (MUST try power mode) - signal blinking sound - auto start feature - walk away auto lock - full sequential signal LED light - OMODA word projected out from side mirror to road surface during car unlock (Cool & Futuristic) - tailgate adjustable height
Dont believe a single word James_Bond say la He used to blow in Genting that he has millions of millions of cash For someone in that stature to buy an Omoda..... well up to you to judge
He is just a trader who likes to say whatever to his advantage
not trusting him blindly, I got my own consideration, it is also my principle to take profit stage by stage when price is at high stage, it is not easy to catch the bottom / peak. Stock price have tendency to move toward it's fair value but it won't be a straight line, up and down in between and there is no promise to reach it's fairest value. some cases it might also over shoot (overvalue).
I also top up stage by stage to average cost when price goes down while it's fundamental intact and also top up if fundamental / prospect improved while it's price still stagnant or didn't up by much.
in yesterday case, transfered my capital from MBMR to SUCCESS which I think fundamental has strongly improved. a bad decision if judging merely on today's price movement but let's see in longer period.
I still got some stock left in this company anyway, price going up is still a win case for me.
for every stocks in the sharemarket, fundamental fair value is it's price central magnet, but this attract power can go on and off depends on other unpredicted and uncontrolable and even unreasonable reasons.
Also most importantly, this fair value it's changes over time as fundamental of the company changes.
This is basic knowledge I use to try earn some money from stock market by trading according to price movement probability. I am investor also trader but I never trade like those typical techinical traders that judging blindly on price chart without fundamental / sentiment reasoning.
it is hard by the way, I am still learning and try to improve judgement over time. but I can tell the sweetest way to earn money in stock market is to buy into a undervalued company and then the company get privitization or take over offer. this is the easiest way for the price to jump close into the fair value, although it won't be the most faired one but sweet and easy no need to guess it's peak while can straight away take profit and move into next counters. got hit privatization only once at MMCCORP and it is one of the sweetest memories in my stock investment journey. the worst nightmare is covid of course, and I didn't managed to play well by go out early and reenter while klci index at it's lowest, I just stayed all the way in and let the opportunity pass, anyway it is alright as my capital growing to it's peak level as of now and very satisfied and confident with all my 9 holdings in my current portfolio.
I do most of my biggest portfolio refreshes during QR releases only as this is the only time mini retailers like me can get a better picture of the companies' fundamental changes
Destiny, I scooped Aji below your average price and acted earlier than you to make my stand! You could hold on to Aji, and continue to support the heartless Japanese dumping radioactive waste to the ocean and poison all living creatures! Pathetic Destiny! Heartless Destiny! Selfish! Selfish! Selfish! Kamma will strike you hard!
Personally could see Destiny and the siput are so short sighted! Smart ppl do the maths, wil know electric vehicles are not only more efficient and powerful but also cost saving and environmental friendly!
PERODUA car 1. Petrol cost: RM70++ full tank 2. Car maintenance: RM300-500++ per visit 3. Road tax: RM 100++ 4. Need to pay SST 5. Engine noise sound and carbon dioxide pollution 6. Old and outdated design 7. Less and outdated safety equipments 8. Need longer than 10 second to reach 100km/hour
Electric car 1. Charging cost: RM20-30++ per full charge 2. Maintenance: Zero 3. Road tax: Free 4. No need pay SST 5. Absence of sound and carbon dioxide pollution 6. Futuristic and High tech car interior and exterior designs/ features 7. Complete with advanced safety measures (Adaptive cruise control, Lane-departure warning, Blind spot detection, Forward collision warning, Rear cross traffic warning, Automatic emergency braking, Adaptive light control, Automatic parking assistance, Driver attention monitoring, Pedestrian automatic emergency braking) 8. Need less than 6 second to reach 100km/hour
Smart ppl do the maths, will know it is more not worthy to buy PERODUA car!
When you drive Tesla/BYD car out, ppl would say WOW, the strength of the BRAND, and the OOMPH, the spirit! However, the other way if you drive PERODUA, the feeling like “oh PERODUA, nothing special, NO OOMPH”!
Malaysia car industry is moving on the non revivable path of NOKIA. “Laughed and brushed off by international car manufacturing circles, then only realized and trying to catch up by having another national car Perodua, ending up NOKIA-ed."
Same goes to ringgit, depreciating to 1 USD to RM 4.7+! My prediction of ringgit to depreciate more to break 5.0! You could see how the Malaysian mentality and economic sense of bringing the nation! Nothing works so far, from Perwaja, Proton, MAS etc… no big investments turn out good!
"Perodua is currently Malaysia’s most valuable automotive company. It chalked up a profit of RM748.2 million on a turnover of RM15.2 billion for the financial year ended December 2022, far higher than any other automotive group in the country.
This year, Perodua is increasing production to meet demand. The waiting period for its passenger cars is up to eight months and its factories are operating on extended shifts. Perodua commands 52% of the passenger car market and accounted for close to 40% of the total industry volume of 366,037 vehicles for the first half of this year.
UMW and MBM have direct interest of 38% and 20% respectively in Perodua. MBM also has an additional 2.8% indirect stake in Perodua while Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), the parent company of UMW, has a 10% direct stake in Perodua.
Assuming Perodua’s profit grows by another 5% this year, its valuation at 10 times price-earnings multiple is easily about RM8 billion. The figure is far more than UMW’s and MBM’s market capitalisation, which means both companies are sitting on an unlisted gem. " - theedge
