Mok4444 Monday should factor in knee jerk reaction towards property shares due to budget... should be an interesting Monday.. see if it can correct to 90 cents...
Budget 2014 will hit hard to local property industry by J&J author.
We think the approach is too hard even though we do not agree to sky rocketing property’s prices. The root is whether it is speculative or other reasons that caused the price hike. We feel that it is because cost is increasing and developers have transferred the cost to consumer. Also as it is a highly related fact to quantitative easing strategy by most central banks all over the world.
If the second objective is to collect more taxes to balance the budget. We feel simply a 2-3% stamp duty share by both buyers and sellers may have achieved the goal plus mildly reduce speculative activities.
If property market react heavily to the approach and this may impact all chains related to property industry and we believe is quite widely spread.
RPGT hike is already expected by the property market. Price has factored in this issue. Removal of DIBS is nothing surprising as well because developers will not sit there and wait die. They will come out something creative to replace this as well.
As expected after the budget 2014 announcement, the increase in RPGT will hv a kneejerk reaction immediately. But it is only a short-term effect on property related counters & the properties share prices will pickup again pretty fast. Investors r advised to accumulate on weakness for strong FA counters.
60cents?? This must be a joke...how the rpgt can impact so much since it is GAIN TAX and been expected 6 months ago. Cut loss mean throw the money on the floor and collect by the smart investor who keep asking people cut loss.
USApg, if u wanna buy telco share, better aim for Instaco, sure money but here is Malton territory. Hopefully Malton could correction towards 0.90 first before breach new high!
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
