The rise in Latitude price is based on the strengthening of the USD against the RM which potentially increased its profit margin by about 9%, besides the prospect of increase in demand from the US market.
But the RM is now forecast to strengthen against the USD, which threaten to negate the increase in profit margin. Hence, the sell down. The rise of the RM is due to the rise of the Chinese Yuan against the USD.
1st half hour of 2014 trading, the volume is good and not sure if all the bears are out or not. However, the last day volume was pretty high. So those who want 'out' shld have done so the last several days. Is it safe to enter? Yes, it is. I did so on the last day of 2013.
Moving up now. The sharp correction in the last few days really flushed out all the weak, short term holders and speculative punters. Buying at this price require bravery or foolishness - only time will tell

They are dumping Latitude with a current PE of < 10 and a potential PE of < 5 next FY, and going for better counters
